I want to delete the before and after pics I had previously uploaded to my profile but I can't find an option to delete them. They are from my sleeve which I just had revised. Thanks!

@Alex Brecher @Ken S. The last Email proudgrammy received from the forums was timestamped 1/24/2018 at 12:43 PM. As far as we know, there have been no email settings that were changed. I also checked her in-basket, Junk, Trash and the local folder on her PC that messages normally go to. Her other Email address is still working. It seems to be the same symptoms as the last time we were troubleshooting this. (I did not copy down the timestamp of the other thread we had going last time. Can you check to see if she has been suppressed again? Thanks. Tom (DH)

I would like to update my weight and surgery weight that shows up next to our comments. I thought I would be able to do it under edit profile but I don't see a way to edit that section.

@Alex Brecher proudgrammy is still having issues receiving email from the forums. I've checked her profile and the correct email address is coded. I've tested the Spectrum mail servers and she can successfully send emails to herself. I'm also seeing occasional email from other senders show up. We tried sending herself a PM from the forum and nothing showed up in her in basket. She had problems like this before and I had to create a new mailbox for her so she would get the emails. I can't think of a way to get further under the hood to diagnose what is going on. Need help here. Thanks. Tom (dh)

Hi y'all, I have missing forums on my Mozilla. It started after the updates. I can no longer see the VSG or Bypass Forums from the main Forum drop down menu...any thoughts? Did they move? TIA!

@Alex Brecher Something seems weird with the format of the forums (android phone but accessed via Chrome). If I choose 'gastric sleeve forums' there are no sub headings, just listings of topics.

Hi, How do I Delete the "krakow hasn't added any information about themselves" in My Profile? All the info Is There! Also, I set my values to Metric, and in My Profile it shows Ibs, which looks silly. I can't change this, every time I hit Edit, it persists with Pounds. Yet, on my info under my avatar, it shows correct weight values .... Thanks

I have read the FAQ's and at least 20 different posts on editing signatures but for the life of me I cannot figure out where to add the text. I can see how to change my ticker. I need it spelled out, I've spent 30 minutes on this! But, hey, I'm drinking my water in the process. Help me out, please!

Hi.. not sure if you deal with app questions as well but I follow the forum via the ‘unread’ tab and it would be very helpful if there was a way of making all “read” without actually having to read through them. At least in the beginning... once re-set it would help to still see the number of unread threads of course. Thanks!

When I initially set up an account, I was taken to a screen where I could add tickets to my signature. i am trying to add more tickers, however can not figure out how to do it. People on line are saying you can click on your photo and a drop down appears that says ticker - not. Someone says go to my surgery then signature and it will ask if you want to create a ticker, it does not. The only thing I can find is when I go to my signatures is to either show or hide my existing ticker. HOW do I create a new one???

How do I delete the pictures from my attachments? There is no need to save them.

Why do you have the "my surgery" setting under the patients Tab instead of the Account tab. Since this is all your personal information, would be much easier to change if it's all I. The same place

Hey all, Have downloaded the app on my Google Pixel - Android running system. The app won't let me login. Just has 'generic error' as the reason why. Have uninstalled the app and reinstalled, any ideas?

Hello there! My name is Ram and I'm new to this forum. I'm from India. When I'm trying to fill in my profile, it has a drop down list of hospitals, all of which are in the US I presume. I see no 'other' option or an option to leave that blank. Is there any alternative? I really want to update my profile.

One thing I've been noticing is that the app for BariatricPal is awful. It has very limited functionality and doesn't even keep you signed in. Also, I noticed that when people use emojis on the mobile app, they get turned into non-parsed BBCode on the web version of the forums. Why is this?

So, I'm thinking it might be a great idea to integrate Nokia Health (which is formerly Withings) with BariatricPal. Nokia Health produces a number of smart devices including wi-fi scales that automatically synchronize your weight to the cloud. There is documentation for how to use the API on Nokia's website.

Please help, I am an idiot and on new medication and I now have duplicate accounts both accessed under the same email address. The first older account I started back in Feb 2017 when I was a lurker, and before I had even had my first surgeon eval- SILVERGIRL61. Instead of trying to update that I opened a new account after surgery blue1961. I would like to keep blue1961 and use my email to access it ONLY, can you please delete SILVERGIRL61? Or tell me how. @Alex Brecher hi hope you are having a nice day. i was "fooling" around with things, pushing this and that, and somehow accidentally changed my pic to someone else on the board. i don't remember her name, i was looking at her info, somewhere it said "change profile pic" i pushed and her pretty face is now impersonating me LOL she might be on the 10 most wanted list!! LOL oh no...................LOL can you fix? if you know this profile - please come out and identify yourself!! Would love to see people's profile include a plastic surgery section so we can see which plastic surgeon/s the members have used, in the same way that we can see the name of the WLS surgeon.

Hello, I'm new here and have an appt with a physician on 7/28 to see about having the Endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty done. Does anyone know if there is a forum for that here? It's a fairly new non-surgical procedure performed endoscopically (tubes/devices down your throat). I would love to meet and talk with others that have had this done, as I have so many questions. Where do I do this at. I have been trying by using 'edit profile' but that doesn't seem to work.

Attempted to alter my signature block under my posts and replies. Wanted to change the quote and alter an image. When I attempted to save it said that the signature did not meet the guidelines. Yet when I try to delete the image to try and start over it won't let me. Went into the section for attachments and there is no delete button for the photo which was uploaded. Can anyone advise how to fix this website glitch?

Hey, So, I'm wondering if we feed weight loss data post-surgery into a database and use that data to analyze weight loss based on patterns and dietary habits, might that be useful for people to get an idea of how much weight they could lose and compare that with possible behavioural changes? Thought you might be interested in such an idea.

I am presurgery and anytime I try to put in starting weight, or current weight it asks for surgery weight. It will not save any entries unless that is filled in with an actual wt above 90. Is this a known bug?

Dear BariatricPal Staff, I've noticed that there is a forum titled "Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgendered Sleevers" and I take issue with this since the word "transgendered" isn't a word because "transgender" is an adjective, not a verb. I can raid your fridge (though I shouldn't), that fridge was raided. I can weigh myself in the morning after going to the washroom, I was weighed. Within the last week or so my BariatricPal app is turned from being decent to being worthless. Notifications aren't showing or reporting and the only three notifications that I see in my settings are from February. Posts are older and it's freezing on me. I've uninstalled and reinstalled three times without any effects or improvement. Suggestions???

Sorry if this has been posted about but I couldn't find it lol. The website and the app both are some what confusing on where I can update my weight info ect.

Lately BP has intermittently not let me login. It also doesn't send me an email to change my password......I KNOW my password and dont need to change it, but I don't know what else to do at that point. I am magically logged in now again but its annoying to have to uninstall the app and reinstall it multiple times just to login.

Hello, I'm new here and have tried several times to upload my before photos only to get an error. Now i've noticed my photo has been uploaded to the members gallery several times. Upon inspection of others photos, it seems i'm not the only one who has multiple uploads. Is there any way to delete a photo once its uploaded?
