Surgery Next Thursday!
I think going into it knowing your first 2 days will suck will make it better. I had no idea and was shocked at how much pain I was in and how wiped out I was. I brought a bunch of stuff to the hospital but didn't use any of it. Once I got home I was so much better. Just being in your own bed and away from the constant interuptions in the hospital was a blessing. I'm 11 weeks out and love my sleeve. I've had no complications and am losing at a good rate. I'm able to tolerate all foods without any issues. I have zero regrets. Good luck with your surgery. Give yourself the time you need to heal

Day Two Post Op, And I Can't Make Air!
You are doing fantastic otherwise. I could barely get out of my hospital bed the first two days. I was so wiped out.

Chickening Out!
I originally wanted the band too until I did research. The two people I personally know that had bands both had to have them removed. One eroded badly into my friend's stomach. There are so many users here that had issues with the band that it was enough to convince me the band was not the way to go. I would also never do bypass due to the nutritional deficits. The hardest part for me to get my head around with the sleeve was that it was permanent. I'm almost 3 weeks out now and have no regrets. I'm looking forward to continued weight loss and increased health!

Question About Hernia's
My roommate in the hospital had one. They found it during surgery and repaired it. No x-ray before.

Boobs - Implants Without A Lift?
I wanted to get a lift when I was 22 because my boobs got horribly saggy from pregnancy and breast feeding. The cosmetic surgeon talked me into getting just big implants instead of a lift. I went from a very small B to a big D. Implants were above the muscle. They were perfect for a few years then they started sagging again. Now they are very saggy. I'm sure gaining 100 # had something to do with it too. When I'm done with all my weight loss I'm getting the implants out and just going for small perky boobs.
