How can I make my profile anonymous?

I see all these different types of rulers that mark their weight lost and goals at the bottom of their response. Where do you find that?

Can we please get the function restored so that when a user clicks on a post (like/confused/thanks/congrats/etc) that it shows us who did that? The case for when someone posts a confused face, it would be nice to see who that was so that the ability to address the confusion could be made. Thanks!

Are there any tips for navigating the site. I haven't used it since it was LBT and that seemed to be a lot easier to use. It was divided into pre , post, eating, complications etc This site doesnt seem to have that sort of functionality , it only seems to be divided into the type of surgery ( unless I'm missing something) I dont want to have to wade through 100+ pages to be able to find 1 post on the topic I'm looking for.

Can we please have an icon for "Congratulations!"? When someone reaches a big milestone or goal, a "like" is just inadequate, imo. Thanks!

Hello, I'm new to this site and I have a question about tags I've seen in the upper left hand side of some users posts. The tags are purple and say "false". What does that mean?

I can’t change my profile picture which is a chimp and I would now like to change it to my real pic. When I do the screen like vibrates and when I try to save it and go back over it has not changed. I would also like to know how to change my beginning weight. It won’t let me put anything higher than when I first started in this website, which was not actually my highest weight. I just received a notification to update my email address because it is not valid. I go to settings and the email that is saved (along with my password) is in use my another member? Please provide assistance on his to correct this situation. It seems BP wants me gone...

Last week, my email got locked out of the forums because I couldn't figure out how to stop my BariatricPal messages going to my spam folder. I finally created a new email and attached it to my account, but I've lost all my store points. I'm sure I had over 5000 at the time. Please help me recover my points! Thanks!

If this isn't a suggestion you're eager to support, I doubt if it's worth the time and effort required to even get started. For the glossary to be meaningful and easy to use, it needs to appear as one cohesive assemblage on a dedicated page in ABC order -- and not in little, repetitious batches in different formats, presented by different posters, some of whom don't proofread for errors or typos.

Is there a known issue? For several days now I have been unable to quote posts without refreshing multiple times or closing the page entirely and reopening it. This has occurred across multiple browsers and different networks. I have not had the issue in the app. But it's incredibly frustrating online.

Is there a page or anything anywhere that outlines the Rank structure? Like what rank is awarded at what level of posts or whatever is used for ranking? I searched but nothing came up, just curious what the whole ranking structure looks like. Thanks!

I just got a new tablet, thought it would be nice to download some fitness apps. There is no sign of Bariatric Pal on Google Play Store. Are you now only on full size computers and smartphones like Android and ?? Please tell us, okay?

They do not seem to be updating when i post.

Am getting this message in a brown box at the top of my screen: Emails that we send to you are being returned to us. If our emails continue to bounce, we will stop sending emails to you and require you to update your email address. I have tried updating email address twice....to two alternate accounts...the box does not go away. I have checked my blocked senders lists, and bariatricpal is not on it. I seem to be getting post notifications and notification from the store just fine. How do we fix this?

One disturbing trend I've noticed recently at this site...is a lack of balanced weight loss experiences in your moderation team. The bariatric community is diverse. There are older people, younger people, people who want to lose weight to uber fitness levels and people who just want to improve their health. There are 200 pound people who want to weight 130....and there are 400 pound people who would love to reach 250. I wish the moderation team represented ALL of these experiences...instead of JUST the smaller people. The VAST MAJORITY of people who have weight loss surgery....statistically are not going to reach goal. Most of us will end up on one side …

Yea I get that you want to sell stuff, and I do buy things from your store, please for the love of God stop the popups when I am on the forum, it's slowing down my browser I've tried three just to check, it's bloatware on your webpage, annoying as all get out, and distracting. When I first signed in back in Aug 2017, I don’t know how or where I even signed in at. Bariatric Pal has been a wealth of information and inspiration for me. I had my sleeve done in Dec 2017. I don’t remember putting any numbers of weight or anything else in. I don’t even know where to find my profile or how. I do not have access to a computer, just my iPad and cell. Android app broken again on 4/14. At least three people posted in reviews, on the same day, and they don't come up as using the same device I do. Worked day before, worked that day, then about non - "app keeps restarting" and the app needs to be closed.

i had to change my profile etc. the other day do to problems. (puter said i wasn't a member and need to sign in) something like that - Soooo, i changed my name from proudgrammy to proud grammy - now things are showing incorrectly. IE - under my profile pic description does not include GOAL weight, height, dr name etc. also shows me as pre-op - in the past i was able to see all names of people who "liked" a post. now it just shows the #, not the names. still don't understand why there is an X when i mark as in i "like" the post. i know this is where i can change my "like, or laughter" or whatever. Doesn't look like anyone has that X showing. doesn't show my signature eithe…

@Alex Brecher Alex, Proudgrammy thinks she is back on the Email suppression list. She's believes this because she is finding items under unread messages that she is not getting Email for. If she is on the suppress list, can you take her off it again? I really want to take this to Spectrum technical support. Is there ANY way to capture or dig out of a log somewhere what the bounce message text is saying is the problem? Thanks... Tom (very frustrated DH)

Hi! Hopefully I'm not asking something that's already been addressed... I'm just returning after a long absence and looked, but didn't see anything. The description of the group here says it's a Secret group, which would mean that nobody who's not in the group would see that you'd even joined. On Facebook, it says it's a Closed group, which means joining might show in other peoples' tickers and on your profile in your Groups. I don't advertise that I've had surgery and certainly don't want to broadcast it to the world LOL.... I really want to join it but not if it means everyone I know will know. Was it meant to be a Secret group instead of Closed?

I hate to be an alarmist. Last week we had a poster using the name of Eddie Larry. He was allover several threads stating lady posters had pretty smiles, he wanted to get closer to them, be special in their lives and things similar. He was using a Techo 3 phone which Big Viffer says is sold in Nigeria. Maybe he's a very lonely individual, a 14 year boy trying to get his jollies or a g a Eden variety pervie. He's popped up again this AM, same type phone, now he's using the name Justin Lawrence, claims to be 49 years old but the phraseology is sickingly familiar. If we have "The guys' room" can we please just have "The gals' room" Having one named something generic and factual.....and the other named a reference to the 1950's and soft porn ....is extremely offputting. I'm sure it was meant to be cutesy, but in business, this would be seen as a microaggression, or sexual harassment. I suppose you could equalize in the other direction, and rename "the guys's room" something equally ridiculous and condescending like "The Humidor: Gentlemen Wanking"
