Have been obese since my teenage years. My highest weight was in 1999 497 pounds. Part of the reason for the huge weight gain was due to being injured in 1990 by a drunk who took away my ability to walk. Depression set in as I could no longer do all the activities I loved. I did tried every diet imaginable and yes I lost but would never keep it off. Lose 40 gain back 20 lose another 30 gained back. It was like this for years. Besides how much can really be lost when you can't do any standing up exercise.
In Jan 2005 I once again joined WW. Following the plan and doing chair exercises I was able to lose 95 pounds that year. My agency was closing down In April 2006 and On Dec 2nd they let me and 10 others go. I got a nice severance pay and decided to use that to start NS in Jan 2006 as I was getting bored with the WW plan. Jan 2006 weighing 402 pounds started using NS. By Nov 2006 I got down to 317 for a total of 180 pounds lost from my highest weight. Had to stop when the severance pay ran out. I was able in April 2006 to get another job but the pay was $10.00 less per hour and every penny went toward the bills.
Never got over into twoterville, life happened. However I managed to maintain my weight for about a year. In 2008 I slowly starting gaining again. I went to see a Weight Loss Surgeon but my insurance denied the lapband. I tried to follow a diet plan but each year I kept gaining and my life was get worse with each gain.
Finally in March 2014 after tearing the right and left meniscus of my right knee that I had to STOP gaining before I was 497 again. June 1st 2014 I was 390 pounds. I was so pissed at myself that in 7 years I gained back 73 pounds. I was happy that I managed to keep off 107 pounds. For that reason I started my weight loss ticker with that 107 pounds lost. I started NS again and in that year I only lost 20 pounds. I still kept going and by May 2015 I lost down 352. Fighting like I had for 17 months and only have lost 38 pounds I tried to find out why I had such a horrible weight loss. During this process we discovered I had a diseased gallbladder, a hernia and several nodules in varies parts of my body. I was sent to a Bariatric Surgeon and he put me on a high protein low carb diet in June 2015 as he wanted me to get closer to 300 pounds before he did the above surgeries. I met with him each month and during these meeting he discussed the possibility that due to a nodule being in my stomach I might have to have it cut out resulting in a smaller stomach pouch- known as a sleeve. I told him I didn't care just so long as I would start to feel better and lose more weight . By Jan 26th 2016 the day of my 3 surgeries I lost down to 314. Turns out I did have the nodule removed from my stomach and that resulted in me having a sleeve for a stomach. Feb 3rd I had my 1 week follow up and I am healing very nicely, no pain, able to keep down all my liquids and shakes and had lost 13 pounds. I am so close to entering twoterville and know I will be there before Valentine's Day.

I truly hope by my Birthday Jan 24, 2017 I will get down to 250 or less.
