Thanks to those of you who notified us about the technical difficulties that you found as we were getting the site up and running. We have addressed them, and we hope that you are visiting the discussion forums regularly!

One particular major improvement that we want to tell you about is our improvement to the Chatrooms. Shortly after we made the switch to BariatricPal, many of you noticed that the Chatrooms were slow and difficult to use. We have now upgraded the Chatrooms and are proud to offer these features.

• Available 24/7, so you can chat in real-time with your friends and meet new ones
• Text, voice, and video features, so you can join the conversation however you want.
• Ability to support thousands of users at once – no more crashing!
• Works with all regular browsers and also on Android and Apple mobile devices.
• A general chat chatroom, and Gastric Sleeve, LAP-BAND and Gastric Bypass chatrooms.
