Longterm ~digestive issues just started

I am 25 years out and just this year been experiencing lots of digestive issues. I alternate between constipation and diarrhea and terrible bloating and gas. Some of my stools are very loose or either I keep going to the bathroom several times in a row. It happens no matter what I eat. My stomach is always “bubbling” and lately it is constant. I have been to several gastro doctors but their suggestions are not helping. Anyone had similar and have any remedies or thoughts?

I can truly relate. I had my surgery in 2012. For the past 5 years, I have been experiencing gas, constipation, diarrhea, you name it, I've been dealing. I've also had the loud noises and the twisting and turning feeling as if my intestines are moving around on a constant basis. I can't say I have any answers. I have tried many things, seen many doctors and tried different medications. Some worked briefly, most didn't work at all. I have drastically changed my diet, which now consists of mostly fruits, veggies, and protein shakes and yogurts, changes to my diet did improve other areas but not much. The most embarrassing part of it all is the gas that has a strong, lingering odor. Currently, I'm trying to get tested for sibo. However, I have taken ciproflaxin amd other treatments to kill the bacteria in my gut. I'll keep you informed when I successfully conquer this. Colon cleansing is next on my list.

I'll keep you informed.
