I am trying to change my profile photo. The icons both in "My Settings" and the one for "Change" on the current photo, are just spinning and hanging there. Is this temporary?

Did it move? How can I update my ticker?

Hi, is there a way to make your profile so only members with accounts can access the information? My profile is accessible by anyone currently and I couldn't seem to locate any in the privacy controls in my profile settings. Thanks!

Just got a new iPad (4th gen) and I am unable to log in to the VST app from it. The ony place I can get the login button to appear is under "Current Threads", but when I click on the login button it does not respond. I also can't look at the Forums tab--it also does not respond when I click on it. All of this worked fine on my 1st gen iPad.

I sometimes feel very dizzy when sitting up in bed. I am 4 months post op & I've lost 52 pounds. The dizzy feeling has only happened for the last few days. Does anyone else have this dizziness when sitting up or even for no reason? What causes the dizziness? I go to my doctor this Wednesday for a checkup, I will ask him.

I commented on a post all now my i phone is going nutz i changed all my settings so i shouldn't receive and messages but i do every time some post something on that post/topic how to i get it to stop its only one that post not any others

I wondered why this forum is so "dead" compared to the other three. I think you are losing a lot of members because the app won't all ow us to post. I had to open safari to post this. If you would like a screen shot of the "Parse Error" I get every time I attempt to post here you can pm me on VST or give me an email to send it to since idk how to attach it through this avenue.

I have been getting the same notifications every hour since last night. They aren't new and they won't stop! Any suggestions?

What is going on with this app? I am getting multiple notifications at once for VST at the same time. For example, if I am subscribed to a particular thread, I will get 7 notifications at once that one person posted to it. Please fix this. It is so annoying I want to delete the silly thing altogether. Thanks for you help.

Mine keeps crashing. The screen will suddenly go blank. I am having to delete the app and re-install at least once a day if not more. Anyone else having problems?

Hi, I can only post 7 lines when I start a new thread from my iphone. I can keep typing past 7 lines, but I can't see anything. (Hence the 'good weed' typo in a thread I just started about 'Getting dressed.') This issue started about a month or so ago. Thanks! Judy

Hi, I'm not sure if this is where I should be putting this but I have not been able to post from my app since last Thursday. I keep getting an error saying that I am trying to post to a link that the administrator has forbidden...or something to that effect. I have a screenshot on my iPod if you need it. Does anyone know what this means? I'm really missing my VST!!!!

I was just wondering when a 2013 Sleevers subforum will be added to the Monthly Gastric Sleeve Surgery (VSG) Support Groups forum (or how to add it)? I apologize if I am being impatient; I'm just eager to connect with more folks who will be sleeved around the same time as me.

I set up my VST ticker since the external ones have been taken away - and it adds that my goal was reached the day I made my ticker - I see no option to change the date or remove that but it is incorrect - I reached my goal 8/20/12. Also, I don't like the rounding of weight.

I only access these boards through the mobile iphone app and I really want to turn off the email notifications. Is there a way to do that in the app itself. I don't need 50 emails a day from one place! I check in often.

I just received a message that my signature was modified to remove external tickers, but I only created one because my surgery countdown ticker that I created here isn't working properly. As you will see below this post, the ticker start value shows that my journey started 15,786 days ago, which translates into more than 43 years, which is more years than I've been alive. It's a minor issue, I know, but when I saw others with external tickers that showed a more realistic start date, I created one. I didn't know it was against the rules and I apologize. However, can the VST ticker issue be looked into?

OK, I have been here for 2 years and I just can't seem to find how to post my Before and After Photos....the ones that are empty under "my Profile" I'm sure if it was a snake it would have bit me by now, but for the life of me, I just cant find it! Thanks, K

When I get an email telling me that a reply was posted to a thread I am following and gives me a link to the thread... it doesn't take me there. Instead it brings me to the "home" page of the forums. I am thinking to figure out how to cancel notifications as that isn't useful at all.

There are many many MANY surgeons listed in the drop-down for the surgery information section on our profiles, but my surgeon isn't listed. He's done the sleeve surgery for a handful of us here on VST, although he is primarily known for his lap-band work. Is there any way to have him added? How do you become a member in the social forums? I've found a couple that i would like to join.

I started my journey in jan 2012 my ins requires 6 months of data and testing. I missed one month and had to start again from mouth one I will complete my last visit with the dietician on 11/7/2012 and now dr office having a problem getting my psych eval completed( get this since 4/16/2012). So now I have to go and be eval again. God knows how long that will take. It has been one hoop after another. Dee

Can anyone tell me how to delete an account from this website? The support here is less than the general population and I see no benefit to continuing. I have been participating for a year and find that with a few exceptions, this forum is very one sided. If certain expectations are not met than a person can just screw off. Whenever I try to comment, or post a new thread using my iphone app, I keep getting an error message. It reads: Parse error The remote server sent a unknown response. This could be a result of the forum software plugin being outdated. Tap the "report" button below to send this report to support for analysis. I tap report. But hasn't been fixed. It's been like this for weeks now. I can't use the app for anything other than viewing. Can you please tell me what to do? Thanks!

I have installed the app on the Iphone and when I login in it keeps saying error, if I try to register it says that user name is already used, which it is. i log in using facebook on the PC am I not matching something up right, Also I have a Nook touch tablet will rny talk work on that too, Do I need to have you resend my password and username or change something so everything matches.

In was curious why some people are listed as Lap Band Guru, Member, Advanced Member, etc. I know that it normally is based on number of posts but I have more than many of the people that have Advanced Member and I'm just listed as a Registered User. I just got my first Android phone, the Samsung Galaxy S 3. This is my first experience with the Android app and I'm still getting used to it. I know on the iPhone app you could touch a post and see the members sig. It doesn't seem to work the same way with the Android app. how do you look at peoples sig? Also, why can't I see anyones avatar including mine?

Why does this website take so darn long to upload, every single page takes minutes, and minutes? How does it get fixed? And, when I'm typing, the page will be doing something and won't let me type. It's very frustrating and aggravating. Please, administration...fix the problem!

My ticker started acting crazy several days ago. It is reading weight at 266.000. I have tried deleting and changing, but doesn't work. I also tried a ticker day to surgery countdown. That is not working either.

Change the font size from smallest...to largest......no difference. Man my eyes ain't what they used to be. Does changing the font size work for anyone else on the mobile app?

Hi. I have contacted people who are in charge of things, and haven't gotten a response back. This website is incredibly slow to load. Every single page takes several minutes to load. I hate it. I don't want to see any of the advertisements, either, and I think that's what the problem is. Is there a way to disable ads? Is there a fix? Any help anyone can offer would be appreciated.
