Cant figure out how to do it. Every time I try it returns me to the main forum page

I had a hard time in the past getting mine to update. I'd just keep trying and eventually it would change.

Did you go to the My Tickers page (in the drop-down with your username, at the top right of the page) and add any tickers? When you add a ticker you can set it up, then select "Add to Signature".

Can you let me know what you ended up figuring out? We're trying to make it easier for you guys - so if you can let me know what you weren't able to figure out - and then did, it may help us in making it easier for users in the future.
