Drinking sparkling cider with my kids on New Years' Eve. (They came into my life as foster children on New Years' Eve 1999. Since that time, Ive adopted them and I've called them my Y2K bugs ever since!)
  2. This is my Sheltie, Bella. Yes, my daughter named her after the Twilight character.
  3. No, they're too stupid to know who they are.
  4. Ok... I started worrying about the plural and looked it up. It is penes although penises is acceptable. Now I can go on with my day.
  5. It's a British pudding. The spots are currants. Not something I'd buy, but I sure did take a picture!
  6. Speaking of penuses, or would that be peni? Hmm. I came across this at my local Kogers last week....
  7. Are you drinking enough water and getting enough protein? That helps me with the hunger. Another thought, maybe have a low calorie snack between meals to take the edge off. An hour to eat seems like a lot, maybe you need a little bit of your fill removed. If you're following all the rules, I'd talk to your nutritionist. Sorry this is happening to you. It sounds really frustrating.
  8. I had my first fill a month after my surgery (3 ccs). My second fill is next Friday (2 months after surgery). That said, everyone is a little different depending on your situation and your doctor.
  9. I can't tolerate grapefruit. It gets stuck every time. I haven't tried any other citrus.
  10. Are you going to try to get some sleep? LOL I was so nervous that I tried to go to bed early so I wouldn't have to think about it anymore. Nice try but it didn't work. I was nervous until I was out, but at the same time, I was definitely ready and now I am so much happier and feel so much better. It's only been nearly two months for me, but I'm already off of my blood pressure medicine. So, try to think about all the good things that will be ahead for you and that'll make you less nervous... maybe. LOL
  11. Until you can get hold of your Dr., consider trying a heating pad. Hope you feel better soon.
  12. Good luck, Marshawn! You're going to do great. I hope you have a speedy recovery. Check in when you get a chance to let us know how you're doing.
  13. Hi Gordon and welcome. I had diarrhea after my surgery, as well. My Dr. said it was due to the liquid diet. (Liquid in liquid out). He told me to make sure I was getting all my water in each day to avoid becoming dehydrated. Once my diet changed, it went away. If it gets too bad, however, I'd call your Dr. and let them know.
  14. Are they "ok" to eat? What are they made out of?
  15. How fun to go through this experience with your daughter! I wish my Mom and I could have done this together.
  16. I like the Viactive vitamins my nutritionist recommends. I loved the chocolate (like a tootsie roll) at first but then tried the caramel... Delicious!
  17. I had a hard time in the past getting mine to update. I'd just keep trying and eventually it would change.
