  2. HI all. I was banded Oct 07, 2011 too I have had 5 fills and i have a total of 5.3 in a 10cc band. I am only down 23 pounds. I am not sure what i am doing wrong. Sometimes I have so much restriction its hard to get any solid Protein down and other days I have to remember to measure because I get SO hungry. I do track my calories on caloriecount and i have been walking everyday. IDK what to do. I think i might go see my surgeon and see whats going on. I had wanted this surgery for so many years but put it off because i was scared. Then i finally go for it and i feel like i am not being successful. Anyways Congrats! on your weightloss
  3. My husband didnt have surgery but has always been my biggest fan an helper. However he to is about 40 pounds over weight not a problem for me but diabetes is like wildfire in his family. So ive altered his diet to be more like mine with LESS carbs an refined whites. Hopefully this will help him an me
  4. Cruel yes. Hurtful yes. Mean spirited yes. BUT common lets all admit it yes we get the band for better health to be off of meds to be physical BUT also BECAUSE WE ARE TIRED OF BEING FAT ! Now atleast we have a surgery for that but really what type of surgery is there for a wretched disposition do not let it matter to you what mean people say. Start your journey you will be better for it.
  5. My restriction from fills actually doesnt appear until 3/4 weeks post fill. I too agree with the others small bites chewed up till mush. If it is swelling also becareful you might not be even feeling the full effect of your fill yet. If you get to the point that you can even swallow water/saliva get a small unfill asap you do not want to become dehydrated
  6. Lower right quadrant houses the appendix too
  7. Deffinite slider i dont even keep it in the house
  8. Absolutely a digital scale an my must have are my measuring ladles from WW. i use them for everything!!!
  9. Hi Olive. Actually I have a gym membership an choose not to use it. I go walking twice a day am/pm a fast paced walk and i also do stair stretches where u stand on a stair with just your toes an raise an lower yourself this is good for the calves an any plantar facitis. I also use bands for my arms. There are videos on youtube for band ideas. Hth Brandi
  10. Just checked it out so many awesome ideas. Thank u
  11. Ironically for me red meat gets stuck poultry is sometimes hard to handle pork isnt kind but seafood of any kind is OK so by way of diet i have become pescatarian which isnt so bad
