I was always the fat kid when I was in school. When I was 14 I was on the Redux supplement since I was 211 pounds. I lost 60 pounds while on the medication. I was so much happier back then. Fast forward about 15 years, I've been off of redux for a long time (like since it came off the market). I learned how to eat healthy and started eating healthier. I was active in martial arts for 6 years. During my 20's I started gaining weight again. I worked out, ate healthier, did what I was supposed to do and didn't lose anything. I toned up, but I never lost any pounds.

What I've done that has not worked: Weight Watchers, healthy eating, vegetarian diet, working out, eating less, eating more often, eating less often, quit drinking, quit smoking, quit sodas, quit buying junk at the store, stopped bringing food in the house, ate salads, ate no red meat, ate fish, took over the counter weight loss drugs, etc, I've done it all.

I've learned about what is nutritious, what to eat, what not to eat, what I like to do, what I want to do, etc. It's not easy stepping away from a life of convenience but it must be done. I'm done living in fear of eating. I know I have to eat to live, I prefer not to live to eat though.
