Feeling Dizzy

I sometimes feel very dizzy when sitting up in bed. I am 4 months post op & I've lost 52 pounds. The dizzy feeling has only happened for the last few days. Does anyone else have this dizziness when sitting up or even for no reason? What causes the dizziness? I go to my doctor this Wednesday for a checkup, I will ask him.

I'm 14 months post op and still get dizzy when I get up too fast. Always gotta take it slow.

That sounds like orthostatic hypotension.....drop in blood pressure when changing positions. Like standing from a sitting position. Jumping outta bed too fast. Causes dizziness or lightheadedness. Move slowly when changing positions. But definitely talk to your doc!!! Just to be safe.
