Hello Everyone. I just got approved by my insurance company (in two days!!). I'm meeting with my surgeon on May2nd and then we schedule the surgery. I'm not happy about the wait time just to meet the surgeon and am trying to figure out a way around it. I'm so ready to be on the other side already! Looking forward to joining the losers' rank lol. I'll keep you all posted[emoji4][emoji1417]

I never realized how much of a real addiction food was until now. I'm not hungry at all but yet I'm always thinking about food. Always.. Foods I wish I could eat right now. Foods that sound do good!! Constantly thinking about what I could possible get away with eating and cheating on my post op diet. I don't cheat though. I just sit here and sip my protein shake and water and daydream. I feel ridiculous.

Hello! Im not really sure just how this app works yet but here goes nothing: I'm about 3/.5 years out of gastric bypass surgery and overall, I had lost about 100 pounds, I was finally down to a healthy weight and was happy with my body for the first time ever. However, over the last year/year and a half, I've gained back about 30 pounds and I'm afraid I will continue to gain. I've tried to put myself back on the liquid diet, but have failed multiple times. Does anyone have any advice on ways that I could kick start my weight loss again? Please help! I have no support groups nearby, I'm fighting this battle alone. Kylie

Tomorrow is my 1 year sleevaversary. Thought I would share what I have experienced over the past year. Fair warning, this was a year in the making, so it's a little long.... I have lost 92 lbs and gone from size 22/24 to 12/14. My Plantar Fasciitis is gone and I can walk for miles. I can wear heels and cross my legs. Shoe size shrank by 1/2 size. I can sit indian style and move a lot better. The interior of my car seems a bit bigger and I just fit into the world better. I lost some hair and now have 3" strands growing back all over my head. I never vomited or had dumping or foamies. I eat very low carb and don't miss carbs one little bit. Truly. I have lots…

I have gone back and forth onhaving surgery but I finally decided that this is the best thing for me. I had an accident a couple of years ago in which I broke my knee and fractured my spine. I've had two knee surgeries, have disc bulging, arthritis and joint dysfunction on my spine. At this point I've been told I either lose the weight or get spine surgery. So of course I've chosen to lose the weight because I know that since I've gained weight, I've been feeling more pain. I now ha…

I want to ask people for some advise. Almost 4 years ago I had sleeve surgery. I was at 340 lbs when I went in for my 1st Dr. apt and was at 223lb the day of my surgery. I made it down to 269 and now I am back up to 305. It seems like I can eat pretty much any size portion I want. Yes I do have some discomfort when I eat too much, but I know my sleeve has stretched a lot. I have tried cutting down my meal sizes, but cant get down under 300 . I feel like a total failure. What are my options? Can my Dr help? Am I eligible for the sleeve again or is there another surgery I could get? Will my insurance cover it? Lots of qu…

I've posted on a couple forums before but haven't fully introduced myself. I'm from Arizona , I'm 32 and have struggled with my weight all my life. Lost some weight with medifast but gained it back and also with Atkins. Decided on the surgery about four months ago and did it Thur the company I work for. One of the best Bariatrics surgeons around. I didnt have to lose any weight per the insurance but the surgeon wanted me to lose a little beforehand. I lost about ten pounds before and last Monday was my surgery. I felt pretty good the first couple days but had little set backs of feeling just gurgley and weird. Also I was told beforehand that I might have had small holes …

Hey guys. I was sleeved March 27th and released March 29th. Feeling a little better today (4 days post op), but boy were those original gas pains a nightmare. Also one of the hardest parts was right after surgery how dry my mouth was and we couldnt sip Water until our contrast study the next morning. I got to wet my lips with a little sponge, which was really nice. I was really nervous for contrast study the next day, but the radiologist was really sweet and the barium wasn't too bad. I was burping all day March 28th and 29th, but didn't pass rel gas until March 30th. (I mostly pass gas while sleeping at night.) I am trying to get my fluids in as best as I can. Today I go…

Now I'm on the other side almost 5 months out and want to share my story with those that are waiting in anticipation or a few days out wondering whats next. I was sleeved on 09/29/2017. At my surgery I weight 363 and my weight when I started the liquid diet was 380.4. I think I ended up topping out somewhere around 387 in the days or weeks before the liquid diet. As of this morning I weight 273.8. So roughly 107 lbs in 5 months. I'll take it! Size wise I am currently a 38 waist, and XXL top. I was a…

At this very moment in time, I’m sitting at a makeshift desk in a command center in AZ starting my 12 hour shift. We are monitoring NCAA events. Mind you, it’s mostly a bore in my section with hours of downtime and only spurts of activities when reports come in for triage. So, lots of time for boredom. Boredom is when I eat. Right now I have my go bag loaded with healthy fruits and Protein drinks (my doc doesn’t require a liquid diet). Next to me is a guy with bags of deliciou…

8/22/2015 I had my sleeve. I was at 254 my current weight is 207. After I had my surgery I was focused on why I could consume so much food and I constantly watched the scale. When I got down to the lower 200 I lost focus on the importance of my purpose in having the surgery and I began to live unhealthy eating what I wanted. Now I have been stuck at 207 and I wish I could start over again but I know that means a lot of life style changes. Time for that reset.

Hello everyone just wanted to share my weight loss story with everyone. I was 345 pounds and my liver was not in good shape. I was so sick of being over weight my body was producing a large amount of insulin and the drs. Couldn't get it under control so it's caused me to gain 100 pounds in 1 year. I started checking into weight loss surgery but never thought I'd have the chance to have it done. I was thankful for my insurance approving my weight loss surgery. I have a 6 month process I had to do before I could have my surgery. I went from 345 to 236 in those 6 months. After surgery was not as bad as I thought it would be. Don't get me wrong those first 3 weeks I thought…
