Hey i have a question for all the nurses out there. When you took health assesment did you preform the tasks on yourself or a partner? And what did you wear. Next semester i have to take health assesment and i was talking to some girls that are taking it now, they told me that they preform the exams on each other,all of them including finding the femoral pulse and feeling for the intercostal spaces across the chest. Marcus (my oldest) is 11 and is in 5th grade. He just had his first physical altercation with a school bully. The 'bully' is also a 5th grader and has had MANY issues with the school. We are all so eager to lose weight and we do unhealthy things to achieve that goal. I wonder sometimes if being fat would be so terrible if it was socially acceptable? I was blown away by the latest news. Like for many, this case has haunted me in many ways over the last 10 years. I'm thinking of going to nursing school next year. I really want to do an accelerated BSN, which would take 12 months, and would mean quitting my job to attend school. Here is the problem: my husband and I would need to cover my tuition and supplement his salary with about 30k in student loans. I already have 45k from undergrad debt. The difference in salary if I had a BSN, as a new grad, compared to what I make now, is 20k gross annually. That doesn't take into account any OT or shift differential.
