October 24, 200619 yr It really depends on the medication. If it's Water weight, try and up your water intake to try and counter it... maybe go over the side effects sheet that should have been given to you by your pharmacist... If it doesn't balance out, try talking to your doctor about an alternative? I'm pretty sure though, that it's not fat weight...
October 24, 200619 yr Let me guess, Loritab or hydrocodone. Just a guess, I take it and when I had the 3rd degree burns and started taking it (still taking it due to neck and back surgery) that's when I started gaining weight. You might be taking something different but boy it affects me. Good to hear from you JQ, I've been worried about you.
October 24, 200619 yr Some meds do cause you to gain weight. Ask your doctor if your medication is associated with weight gain.
October 26, 200619 yr John, what the name of the med. that you are on...it will help us give our opinion/experience. Shawn
