How to come home drunk and still get a hot Breakfast... Jack woke up with a huge hangover the night after a business function. He forced himself to open his eyes and the first thing he saw was a couple of aspirins next to a glass of Water on the side table. And, next to them, a single red rose! Jack sat up in bed and saw his clothing in front of him, all clean and pressed. Jack looked around the room and saw that it was in perfect order, spotlessly clean. So was the rest of the house. He took the aspirins, cringed when he saw a huge black eye staring back at him in the bathroom mirror and noticed a note on the table: "Honey, breakfast is on the stove, I left earl…

Yep, it's me; I canceled my DeLarla account long ago because a few specific bandsters refused to stop stalking every single post I participated in or started, and sure enough they're the same people to start another DeLarla bashing party behind my back, yet they call me childish? I just got back from Dallas after a wild weekend and can barely talk, but I can still LAUGH OUT LOUD! Then there's a few who "think" they know me because they joined LBT so late in the game that it's too easy for them to pass judgment without knowing the entire story. Plain and simple, I avoid some members like I avoid piles of dog poop, and I wouldn't dare click on a thread that contained cer…

I would love to see pics of all your kids starting school. Yesterday my son started Pre-K. He is fortunate enough to have the same teacher as last year. We have become good friends and stayed in contact over the summer. She is true treasure!!! The little girl is the one I mentioned in the prayer thread that has leukemia. She was approved to return to school on a day to day basis. Please pray for her. She wasn't there 5 min until she had her wig off showing the kids her shaved head. She is so precious. She claims my son as her best friend and insisted on getting in on this pic. Perhaps she could be considered his first girlfriend. God help me, I'm not ready for that y…

I'll still be around though using my laptop, so wish me a good flight!!

Can I just say, it's a great day to be alive?! I am just so happy and wanted to share. I got my first fill on Fri and now I feel as though I've gone from a stationary bike to a Harley-Davidson. I have lost 25 lbs without restriction and I can't wait to see what happens next. My scales are finally moving for the first time in weeks. It's amazing. I LOVE RESTRICTION!!!!! I took a walk this evening and it's just beautiful here....currently 73 degrees. It rained earlier today and it was nice to smell the country air and listen to the crickets & cicadas. I was thinking of how fortunate I am. I have a beautiful family AND I'm losing weight. Just ignore this is you thi…

Have you received the e-mail that starts of with(?): You gotta love Robin Williams...... Even if he's nuts! Leave it to Robin Williams to come up with the perfect Plan. What we need now is for our UN Ambassador to stand up and Repeat this message. "I see a lot of people yelling for peace but I have not heard of a plan for Peace. So, here's one plan." It Is Another HOAX But even if Robin Williams had said it, it is still BS. 1) "The US will apologize to the world for our "interference" in their affairs, past & present. You know, Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Tojo, Noriega, Milosevic, Hussein, and the rest of those "good 'ole' boys", we will never "interfere…

Hi y'all. 'Member me? hehehe I have to apologize for checking out like I did, but I want you to know that all the pm's, emails, and phone calls were greatly appreciated. Why did I leave? well it is a combo of a few things. I had a family member track me down to this site and it got ugly. But I am not going to let that get to me. I just needed to step away from the internet for a bit, but am calm now and dealing with it. But also on top of that I have been working my butt to the bone with some projects I am currently on. I have been back to my 100+ hours a week type stuff. Very little sleep. Seems all I do is workout, and work. I maybe get to sleep on the …

This is great news!! GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip -- Militants freed two Fox News journalists on Sunday in the Gaza Strip, ending a nearly two week hostage drama in which one of the former captives said they were forced at gunpoint to make statements, including that they had converted to Islam. Correspondent Steve Centanni, 60, of Washington, D.C., and cameraman Olaf Wiig, 36, of New Zealand, were dropped off at Gaza City's Beach Hotel by Palestinian security officials. A tearful Centanni briefly embraced a Palestinian journalist in the lobby, then rushed upstairs with Wiig behind him. The pair, who appeared to be in good health, then met with Palestinian officials, inclu…

I know there are a lot of dog lovers out there. As you know by now, I've had fun tonight scanning my hard drive for pics. Thought I would share this one. Anyone else want to share?

Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog's owners, Ron, his wife Lisa, and their little boy, Shane, were all very much attached to Belker and they were hoping for a miracle. I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family there were no miracles left for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home. As we made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told me they thought it would be good for the four-year-old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt as though Shane might learn something from the experience. The next day, I felt the familiar catch i…

Psyche, I'm not leaving LBT again! Too many of you drag sappy tears out of my eyes with all the love. But it's with shock and exhilaration that I share with all of you, who have supported me in every aspect of my life over the years, that I just reached my lifetime achievement. I've been trapped in the corporate world for over 20 years, but my days are numbered. Next Friday is my LAST DAY AS A FRIGGEN PARALEGAL! I QUIT! I quit my job! Did I really say that? Yes, I did, I really, really did... I quit my job! Now you have to watch for the Slumber Buggy - it might just come through your town! I'm competing for a trip to New York City for a fully paid shoppin…

Has anyone ever wondered if Terrorists get any ideas from the movies about how to hijack commercial airliners? Well, when it comes to "Snakes on a Plane" you needn't worry, because the writer, producer and director did not bother to hire anyone for technical information. As an aircraft mechanic who worked on 747's for over 25 years, I can tell you that any terrorist who makes his plans based on what he sees in this movie will be spending the rest of his life in prison. I suspect, that not much money was spent on technical research on snakes either, but I am not scholarly enough on that topic to state a firm case. They only did two things right in the movie. One: whe…

DH and I received an invitation to an awards banquet by his company. The invitation says Dress Business. I am assuming that means suit and tie for him, but what does that mean I should wear? I was thinking something in the line of "Trophy Wife" because no one at his work has seen me since being banded. I want to turn some heads and cause some whispers. Suggestions Please!!!!!!!!!!! (I look hot in my new Levi's, but don't think that is business dress)

I have my first appointment with the surgeon on Monday, August 28. I'm not sure that my BMI and my medical history are enough to get my band covered by insurance. Trying to cover the costs of the lapband without insurance would be a deal breaker. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank youu for your help! Thanks, Winner, or soon to be:help:

A firefighter was working on the engine outside the station when he noticed a little girl next door in a little red wagon with little ladders hung off the sides and a garden hose tightly coiled in the middle. The girl was wearing a firefighter's helmet. The wagon was being pulled by her dog and her cat, so the fire fighter walked over to take a closer look. "That sure is a nice fire truck," the firefighter said with admiration. "Thanks", the girl replied. The firefighter looked a little closer and noticed the girl had tied the wagon to her dog's collar and to the cat's testicles. "Little Partner", the firefighter said, "I don't want to tell you how to run your rig, …

This is my latest cross stitch project that I finished. It's a Geisha girl for my husbands brother and his new wife. It's their wedding present. I'm a bit pissed with the framers though, there is a small green smudge on the material on the right side, and a small chip in the frame on the bottom. I almost took it back but I'm afraid they might mess it up more trying to take it out of this frame and reframe it. Ohh well it still looks good.

I know this is alot to ask but i am going to anyways. My SIL has had a hard life. She married young, had a baby young and ended up in an abusive relationship that took her 8 years to break free from. In the process she had to leave her dd with her Xhusband's mother. (DD is in the best home for her) Anyways on to my favor, She has just decided to do something with her life so she just joined the army. I have never been so proud of her and I know boot camp will be the hardest 10 weeks of her life. I think it would be so awsome for her to recve postcards from all over the country wishing her well and thanking her for serving our country. It would make her day knowing that so…

Did anyone see that story from the associated press about the 18 yr old Austrian girl who escaped from her kidnapper after 8 years? He kept her in the cellar I think it said. How awful!!! When she escaped he commited suicide by throwing himself in front of a train. Do you ever wonder what happens in people's lives that makes them do things like that???

Many of you knew him, some of you loved him. My precious Voodoo got his angel wings a couple weeks ago and flew over the rainbow. Ya'll know how hard this is to post - my sweet furry protector, best friend, heart and soul, forever. xo Mamma Loves Baby xo

She is in the kitchen preparing to boil eggs for Breakfast. He walks in. She turns and says, "You've got to make love to me -- this very moment." His eyes light up and he thinks, This is my lucky day. Not wanting to lose the moment, he embraces her and then gives it his all on the kitchen table. Afterwards she says, "Thanks," and returns to the stove. More than a little puzzled, he asks, "What was that all about?" She explains, "The egg timer's broken."

Hi Everyone, My husband, son and I came home today and when we stepped out of the car, the first thing we saw was the biggest WOLF spider in the history of mankind in our garage. I could identify it and knew it wasnt poisonous so I had my hubby chase it out of the garage. While inside, my husband was looking at the garbage can which is in the garage and saw a black spider with several egg sacs. IT looked to be at the end of its life cycle, but it was still quite alive. He brought it outside and it was rolled over as he put it in the dirt along with the 1/2 inch egg sacs. He came in and mentioned that he found a black spider with red markings on its belly. I totally…

School Teacher Arrested! At New York's Kennedy airport today, an individual later discovered to be a public school teacher was arrested trying to board a flight while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a set square, a slide rule, and a calculator. At a morning press conference, the attorney general said he believes the man is a member of the notorious Al-gebra movement. He is being charged by the FBI with carrying weapons of math instruction. "Al-gebra is a fearsome cult," a Justice Department spokesman said. "They desire average solutions by means and extremes, and sometimes go off on tangents in a search for absolute value. They use secret code names like…

Its 3 years and I made it to goal! The last time I weighed 156 was when I was 26 years old. Shortly after that I broke my foot (last bone on the side of my foot, before pinky toe) and gained 20 pounds. Struggled with that for about 2 years then my sister died and I gained more. I averaged about 190 for 7 years except the time I broke my arm and went up to 210 I was 30 years old at the time. Flash forward to 37 when I gave birth to my gorgeous girl Roxanne at 245, she was only 8 lbs and 3 oz… Sure I lost some baby fat but never got below 220. Then at 42 I had my boy Hunter at a grand weight of 270, his birth weight was less than Roxanne’s…. So after trying, dieting, exer…

Hi all, Without going into full details (too tired and too long for right now) my husband and could not have kids of our own. We tried for several years to have kids (inutero, invitro, et al.) and only recently decided it was time to stop trying. I'm 44, he's almost 40. Some friends of ours' daughter (they had her when they were VERY young) just had her children taken from her by child protective services. Because of the circumstances, our friends (the biological grandparents) are not eligible to take custody of the children. My husband and I have been asked to adopt the youngest of the children (he's 15 months old.) We want to help them, but this is not a situation…
