GLP 1 and Post Bariatric Hypoglycemia

I have been contacted regarding a research study locally about GLP 1. I normally wouldn't consider it because it is very pricey. I have not had luck finding doctor to take me seriously, but I have had struggles with hypoglycemia even before I had my bariatric surgery (RNY). I live with a protein bar handy everywhere I go in case of emergency.

Had anyone with PBH seen a different after using a GLP1. I had seen a few positive research studies but curious. All I know about the research study is that it will be a self-injection and they are studying different dosages. For all I know I might get placebo. I will be doing an intake questionnaire on Monday. Was hoping some of you might have some insight.

I have maintained a 100 lbs. weight loss but I still definitely have extra padding to lose. I can eat pretty normal but never the volume I once could. For reference my surgery was the RNY, and it was in 1998.
