Has anyone had WLS with Dr. Phillip Price? I am being sleeved Oct. 22 by him

Haven't seen anyone talking about him so if anyone has any information I'd appreciate it. He's my surgeon.

I will be moving to Jacksonville in November. I will be looking for a good doc/practice for continued care. I was banded in 2011 at Cleveland Clinic Florida and I would like someone for maintenance fills and to be established as a patient if an emergency occurs. Any recommendations? (or warnings?)

Well I am going to have surgery aug 15th have to be at the hospital at 5:15am it is now 11:44pm can't sleep have to leave at 4am having gastric bypass done

Hi there, I am new to these forums so if this is the wrong place to write, I apologize in advanced. I was wondering if anyone has had ANY experience with UTMB center for "obesity and metabolic surgery" in League City. The surgeons are Obos Ekhaese and Guillermo Gomez. If you haven't had experience at UTMB, or these surgeons, can you recommend any surgeons in the area? There is just so many different ones and the closer I get to finding a good one - the more lost I feel! Any comments would be appreciated, thanks a lot.

I had my 1 month follow up today (Thursday will actually be 4 weeks) I started my 10 day pre op diet at 252lbs, the morn of surgery 8/8 I was 240lbs, today I was 226lbs. (Started puréed 2 weeks ago) not doing a lot of puréed meats! I'm sticking with the basics..Greek yogurt, PB, chili, refried Beans, Atkins Protein shakes, isopure! Puréed meat/veggies is AWFUL, can't even look at it!!! So since week 2-now I've only lost 3.4lbs. When I talked with the PA Today, she seemed disappointed that I had only lost that little bit of weight, and then ask me WHY I thought I had only lost that amt. She has a very great relationship with him and has taken multiple people (herself included) to see him and his associates for GS and plastic surgery. I am considering Dr. Nicholson as my surgeon to do my band to sleeve revision. I'm a self-pay patient from out of state. I've heard good things and he would be an alternative to going out of the country. I have a specific period of time that I would be able to get surgery since I'm a teacher. I could either do it during this summer, during Christmas break, or next summer. I really don't want to wait until next summer but I'm thinking that this summer might be unrealistic.
