  2. I was sleeved august 20th 5/23: 274 8/20: 264 9/3: 246 I lost 10lbs before surgery. So 28lbs since I started the process. 18 lbs since I was sleeved 8/20! And I feel amazing. Can't wait to be less than 200lbs!
  3. No it's not. I goto the doctors tomorrow I just hope it's nothing bad
  4. Hey guys I was sleeved 17 days ago. But I had a question. I'm having lots of soreness/pain on my right hand side on my stomach I believe where they pulled the stomach out. Is anyone else feeling like this? Should I be worried?
  5. Just wondering I am two days post op and in horrible pain. I believe they are gas pains from my stomach up to my chest and back. Has anyone experienced this? And also I haven't been hungry but seeing food on tv makes me want it so much. I didn't realize how attached I was too food until the day I had my surgery and was watching tv in the hospital and saw a pizza commercial and my mouth watered and I wanted it badly lol. Just wondering if others are having the same problem as me...

  7. Got my surgery yesterday morning. Felt horrible for about 2 hours but when I got to my room and was able to walk I felt a lot better. I'm doing so well that if I can keep 4 8oz bottles of water (sipping every hour of coarse) I can go home!!!! I'm so excited

  13. Thought my date was the 27th of august. Got a call yesterday from the office it's the 20th!!!! Super excited cannot wait!
  14. So today's my last appointment with the surgeon. I have completed everything, and paid for everything. Been calling the office and insurance every other day for the past two weeks. I called the insurance last week they said they have a date and it's the 27th of august which would be awesome but the office hasn't called to confirm that date. So I'm fearful that the date won't be the real date . I need to plan where my kids will be staying and who will be able to help me while I recover. Not being able to pick of my two year old is going to be hard along with good work and laundry. Very annoyed right now...sorry I just had to get that of my chest.
  15. Thank you and good luck to you also. No, I'm not on any diet. They told me to just start eating better, smaller meals, protein first, no soda, coffee or fast food and a day before surgery I start a pre-op diet that consist of a light breakfast and light lunch and liquids until surgery.
  16. Just got news I'm getting my surgery on the 27th of august! Super excited and cannot wait. Longest 4 months off my life! Anyone else getting it done on the 27th?
  17. I don't know if I got the insurance approval. Do they send it in the mail? I'm just worried cause I'm a stay at home mom with two kids under 3 and my only help is my mom and sister and in September they go back to school so I needed it in august. Plus I can't pick my kids up for 3 weeks and I cannot drive for a week so it's gonna be hard if I'm by myself.
  18. Also a pre op in ma. I have kurger and he is awesome. Unfortunately don't have my date yet they said august was looking good but haven't heard anything. Waiting for the call soon! Good luck to you!
