Im bipolar and I have my psych evaluation next week. Im worried what if I don't pass the evaluation. I'm beyond scared and nervous. Ive been stable w my meds for some time. I go to my psych. Appts regularly and take my meds as prescribed.

Thanks for all the advice everyone. I met with the nut today. I knew I needed to break my bad habit of biting my nails. So for the past 2 weeks I've stopped cold turkey. A few time I caught myself before I bit them. But I've done a lot better than the past of trying to break the habit. So I was told after surgery no more nail biting. At all. I think I'll go to Walmart and get that nail polish to help stop biting.

Are we allowed to have sweet n low? And sugarfree chewing gum?

Can someone please give me some examples of a clear liquid diet?

Do I have to go thru my pcp to schedule or can I just call the scott and white clinic to schedule these pre op tests?

No I'm not military. I have medicare. I'm also wondering what would ne my copay.

What is an ROI? My pcp is scott and white with Dr. Bible. In Killeen.

Im trying to find anyone that had surgery in Killeen. Im trying to find out where do i do my pre op tests at in Killeen. Im having surgery in Dallas, Tx. But I really dont want to drive all the way over there to do my pre op tests. If I have to I then I'll do it, but I can't drive in that big city. My husband took me for consult and seminar. But he cant get off til I have surgery.

Im a selp pay. Do I have to do all these requirements like phsyc evaluation, nut, etc?

I have my first consult with the surgeon I decided to go with. I'm nervous. I dont know what to expect. Anyone out there want to shed some light on what's to come?
