Food Before and After Photos

Like weight loss before and after photos but of your new diet !

I'm especially interested in before and after meal photos (take a pic at the point you feel restriction) but it can be of recipe substitutions, your refrigerator/pantry/shopping cart/etc

It's been a while since I posted but tonight's dinner: 230 grams of chicken shawarma/baba gnoush bowl from Naf Naf grill and an over medium egg. Sometimes I'm low-key astounded that I used to be able to eat the entire bowl (4 or 5 servings now) in one sitting.20190506_191417.jpeg20190506_201023.jpeg

I love seeing energy kcal on labels! I know the poster possibly lives abroad/outside the US and reminds me what the rest of the world thinks food is all about

In the UK and so glad I have all this nutrition info to rely on as well as the tight food standards underlying it. Reason number 99999999 why I think we would be mad to follow through with Brexit!

Vegan Northern Indian Samosa Chat,

2 potato samosa w/ chickpea masala & various toppings (tamarind & mint yogurt sauces, parsley, rice crunchies- forgot to say no to all of these ?)

I *needed* stuff from the store and the cafeteria is in back

After only... Only ate 1/3.

Completely full & very spicy ?

Yes its just the more scientific categorization of it

What is the difference between calories and kilocalories?

  • The "calorie" we refer to in food is actually kilocalorie. One (1) kilocalorie is the same as one (1) Calorie (upper case C). A kilocalorie is the amount of heat required to raise the temperature of 1 kilogram of water one degree Celsius. Please visit USDA's Nutrient Data Laboratory for additional information.
