But All In All Very Professional They Take Your Problems Seriously. And The Dr. Whom Which Is Dr.christine Evancowich-edwards. Is Excellent. I Wouldnt Have Wanted Anyone Else Do My Surgery. She Lis Very Professional. And If You Go In And Tell Her You Need A Fill She Gives It To Ya. She Listens To You. Because Who Knows You Better Than You But You!. She Takes All Insurances. And If Self Pay She Probably Give A Good Deal. If You Have To Pay For Fills Cause Your Self Pay. If I Was To Pay For Them Shed Charge Me 100…

Hi Everyone Does anyone know of an online radio station that is lapband related?

I went to the seminar last night and the surgeon stated he has performed about 100 of these procedures since 2005. However, he is a leader in laproscopic surgery and was the first in Tallahassee to do it. Is this enough experience do you think?

Has anyone else had a problem with the Surgery Center submitting your information to the insurance company? Mine neglected to send everything that was needed, which caused me to get denied which has caused me to end up in an appeal situation. This happened even after I walked them through every single document that needed to be submitted, then the person that screwed it up tried to blame it on ME and then tried to blame it on my advocate who gave her the information 7 times at least. I know this because I was BCC'd on the email that she sent to the person 7 of the times with the documents attached. I just wonder if anyone else has run into this.

Good Am, It has been a long time since I have been on here, I was under Chattanoogabrat but I have relocated with T-Mobile to Augusta GA Chattanooga is four hours a way I know such a short distance however have to go thru Atlanta GA what a nightmare so It would be a good 8 hour day of just driving time. So I am hoping since noone else has been able to find any info for me, does anyone know of a fill doctor down in the Augusta Area that is willing to work with lap band patients that had their surgery down sompelace else? Is there a site to go on to check the references, complaints, problems,etc of doctors and hospitals in Mexico. I've heard of them in the US but not Mexico. I'd love to know how each of them stand professionally.

This may be a silly question but since I am going to the seminar tomorrow I want to make sure I have all of my ducks in a row. The patient questionnaire asks for diet history. How accurate do you have to be? Or are they just interested that you have tried things? I just don't remember all the dates, how much I lost, etc. Thanks! ~Jennifer

I wonder how many people have actually seen thier surg since you have had your surgery. The place I went to get my Band I have only got to see him once before my surgery and at my operation. I have never seen him again since. Is that typical? I feel like sometimes my doctors office is an assembly line for surgeries and the pt care afterword is not really all that great.

Hey all you that have had dealings with Dr. K in Denver. I am traveling to Denver several times in the next couple months and would like to be able to use a scale to track my weight. I weigh on Wednesdays here in Waco at my bariatric center. Do you think the folks there would let me step on their scales while I am on the road? Has anyone gotten fills in Nogalas MX. I was banded in Tiquana and live in Tucson AZ. Need fill close to home in MX since US will not fill me. Please reply with info and costs if possible. I am desperate.

I can not say enough wonderful things abou them!!!! First of all Dr. Felts is the nicest man. He made the surgery easy and when I called him today he was extremely helpful and sympathetic!! All of the people at the surgery center were very upbeat and fun!! They made the process easy and actually enjoyable!! Kuddos to Dr. Felts and the staff at the Richardson Surgery Center!!!

Everyone tells me to be sure I research a doctor before I decide to let them to do surgery. How do I do that? I have looked at their website, but obviously there will nothing negative. I want to know the negatives (no one is perfect) as well as the positives.

I will be attending Dr. Spivak's seminar January 12th. Can anyone tell me what to expect with the seminar and the 1st consultation? I know I need to fill out the patient health history but is there anything else that I need to bring? How long did the seminar last and how long did the consultation last on average? I decided I'm going to go a head & get banded. I have chosen Dr. Cirangle in S.F. Has anyone used him as their Dr? I do have one fear I love to eat and would if it doesn't work. Has anyone had it done and continued to always be hungry? Is it true you just eat about 4 oz and are satisfied? Does anyone have any regrets? Please give me some feedback

Hi Im jennie from north england, Im looking into lap band surgery in Europe because of the high prices in the Uk. Has anyone any advice to offer? I've been in touch with Belgium and prague Belgium is closer has a better rep but only offer fill up and aftercare in london 6 hours away from me. Prague i know little about the hospital but if offers fill ups and aftercare just 1 hour away in Newcastle and is also a little cheaper. Has anyone been to Prague, Belgium or anywhere in Europe for surgery. Thank's Jennie

I have been in touch with the above group and find them very helpful if a bit pushy. Has anyone any experience of them please?they seem to be only using bariatric surgeons(rather than general surgeons)which can be only good. However they are a lot more expensive that my other choice Chris de Bruyne in Belgium.Either way as I am in Ireland I am going to have to get on a plane and travel so distance isn't really an issue. All experiences welcome!!thanks

I am so confused!!! My surgery is scheduled with Dr. Jose Rodriguez in Acuna Mexico for 1/18/08. However, I just heard from another user that Dr. Rodriguez was made Chief of Bariatrics and Endoscopy at the Hospital Angeles in Juarez and does not work out of Acuna anymore. Can you see why I'm confused. I emailed Dr. Rodriguez and his assistant who I booked my date with but will probably not recieve a response anytime soon due to the weekend. Does anyone go to Dr. Rod for fills in Acuna or have surgery scheduled with him?

Hi I have just started the process of banding through Kaiser. I will be going to either Fremont or South San Francisco depending on the wait list. What was your experience with the Kaiser doc? How long was the process start to finish for you? Aftercare, how was it? I have PCOS and I am interested in lapband surgery I am looking for a doctor in Chicago. I am terrified of the surgery. I already went to a seminar and the person who gave her testominal was rude and I do not want to go through them. Instead of saying you'll be fine and if you stay at your current weight you will have other health related problems. She said you have a higher chance of being killed in a car accident.

I am new to this site and am interested in talking to someone that has had or knows anything about the lap-band surgery in south Georgia. I am in the process of scheduling my procedure with Dr. Rehnke who is a Journey Lite doctor. Has anyone used him, know of anyone who has used him or any of the Journey Lite facilities or doctors?
