Food Before and After Photos

Like weight loss before and after photos but of your new diet !

I'm especially interested in before and after meal photos (take a pic at the point you feel restriction) but it can be of recipe substitutions, your refrigerator/pantry/shopping cart/etc

What’s it like leaving so much food on your plate?

Obviously I’m new, not sleeved, but looking at these pictures is making me wonder if I could leave all that on my plate without being incredibly depressed or agitated

Thanks

Hi Mystery!

It's liberating. Who cares anymore if anything is left behind.. take it with you, give it to friends, less fortunate or bin it. If you are super duper worried, order less like appetizers. We are removing the focus from food. It's just a part of life now.

Stick around, fill out your profile and join the party!

Safe Journey ?

Fiberous, energy bombs! Trying to make my own healthy grab and go breakfast or preworkout snack. They are oats, flax seeds, chia seeds, hemp hearts, toasted coconut, peanut butter, honey and vanilla.

Super easy and super tasty!

Snow day breakfast! Egg/egg white scramble with peppers, onions, feta and tomato. Two turkey sausage links and half a gluten-free bagel. Managed about 1/3 before I started sneezing. I'll munch on it throughout the day to get those protein/calorie goals hit. 20190128_092727.jpeg20190128_093411.jpeg

Generally, no, not at all. I feel satisfied and full and have tasted enough of the food to satisfy the "head hunger" portion of eating.

Very occasionally I feel some, maybe disappointment?, that I'm not able to continue to eat. Usually if it is something uniquely delicious that isn't something I'll have again anytime soon. Or occasionally my favorite comfort foods, usually pasta based, there is a twinge of sadness I can't just eat a big ol' bowl.

Overwhelmingly though, feeling fantastic, looking fantastic (in clothes at least), TOTALLY makes up for any twinge of regret about not being able to gorge myself.
