Food Before and After Photos

  • Popular Post

Like weight loss before and after photos but of your new diet !

I'm especially interested in before and after meal photos (take a pic at the point you feel restriction) but it can be of recipe substitutions, your refrigerator/pantry/shopping cart/etc

Portable Veg/Pro combo

*Can sub with other ground meats, but try this

Can't remember if I ever posted this either, sigh. From the days I thought I had to figure out the bread situation.

Behold

Seasonal oat and protein rolls.

Don't know if I could replicate these again if I tried. Its been a year... I may try again with coconut flour and let y'all know

Ingredients:

Ground oats (into a flour), vanilla premier protein powder, water, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder. Amounts depends on consistency you want. Less water thicker batter.

Steps:

Preheat oven to 375

Prep cookie sheet

Mix flour, protein, baking powder and spices with water. Fold vigorously until combined you will notice an imefuy risinf from the interaction of BS and protein.

Scoop drop biscuit style on to pan. Bake until clean released toothpick.

The texture you achieved looks perfect. Were they at all gummy?

No, they were picture perfect. Then of course I was no longer interested in bread for myself so after a couple of batches I stopped. ?

(I make artisan breads for my family constantly)

I'll try again soon

Ok y'all let's talk about this. I finished 80% of this over 2 days as 2 different meals. Threw the rest away, I was tired of chewing. Lol.

I feel ok with this choice, I was thoroughly satisfied wanted nothing else for the night, was the true meal of the day. Not something I'm rushing to do a lot but once in a while.

I'll round up and call it 400 cals per meal

(170 per 1/3 crust; entire crust 510; 510 x .80=408; 408 over 2 days 204. Toppings are 2 cups kale, 2 onions, tsp olive oil, tsp tomato sauce, maybe .5 oz shredded cheese. Let's call that 300. An extra 48 for making this a maths project and add in a phantom 200 cals for eating pizza outside of Italy like I said I wouldn't)

I may try it again next month.

Arrivederci

I really was so happy to feel normal when we went out. And no repercussions despite the carbs or the fat level.

Also, if we're showing a full-size plate of food (like at a restaurant), the differences look much smaller than if you're showing a bariatric-size portion to begin with
