What is one thing you use the most post-op

(I am very curious to see) What is one thing you use on a daily/ frequent basis that you just can't live without, related to having your VSG surgery?

My Fitness Pal app, Blender Bottle for protein shakes, Brita water dispenser for fridge, and child-size spoon.

Water bottle with a small opening so I can take small sips of water

small bowls for meals

small spoon and fork - so I remember to eat slow.

another good reminder - I only eat at the dinner table. No more eating at the coffee table or at my desk (or in my car when driving).

My food scale

I also have to use to straws to drink or it's not happening.

My couch - I'm a full time teleworker from home and sitting in a regular chair at the desk doesn't work. The couch with my laptop is much more comfortable.

My Water bottle that I now take around everywhere.

MyFitnessPal

My Fitbit and My Fitness Pal apps along with my weight loss tracker app. They give me a nice visual tracking system and keeps me honest with myself. 2 years later I still use them daily.

My fitness pal, S'well water bottle, my fitness tracker and Bariatric Pal Every single day. Not everyday are my Jazzercise classes and other exercises.

Pill crusher and "baby spoon."

Crushed tylenol tastes awful...

HydroFlask (even in 90 degree weather keeps ice all day) and iphone (my fitnesspal, tracking water and other daily goals, my bariatricpal, inspirational quotes etc)

Straws- because at almost 2 years post-op I still don't like drinking without a straw

MyFitnessPal- keeps me accountable

Scales- I use two of them every morning- it's a constant reminder that it is very easy to get fat again

BariatricPal- I usually check in here about once a day while I'm at my desk working

Plastic Baggies, Small Dishes- Instead of eating anything right from the container, I always portion things out in bags or little tupperware dishes

In the first few days post op? Gas-X strips!

I agree on all the water bottles, but this app is truly a daily help! So many answers and all different questions. At this point it seems like I kinda know my cyber friends ...

We have a lot in common

Happy fourth????????

My 25-ouncer bariatric advantage shaker bottle. Poor thing is a hot mess. Need a new one.

Oh, and my Fitbit Zip
