Food Before and After Photos

Like weight loss before and after photos but of your new diet !

I'm especially interested in before and after meal photos (take a pic at the point you feel restriction) but it can be of recipe substitutions, your refrigerator/pantry/shopping cart/etc

Though I sometimes use this brand. Depends on what is available in the stores. Also tasty.

I'm stocking up my brand knowledge for when international borders open again ?

Made a big pot of chicken & corn chowder (not authentic) yesterday so we would have something a little more nutritious & warming than nibbles with our drinks last night. It looks more stew-like but I added a more stock before serving with diced crispy bacon, chives & a swirl of cream. Though I asked everyone to take all their leftovers home, I have a fridge of cheeses, dips, homemade Japanese curry sauce & boxes of cracker biscuits.

I'll take some leftover chicken + corn chowder home! Looks delicious. Great winter dish. Have you had any snow yet? Will you take a snow scape picture when you do? ;]

This has been my meal for the past week, ground chicken lettuce wraps with bell peppers, onions, jalapeños and topped with avocado, hemp seeds and chia seeds.

We never have snow here. Queensland is too far north so not cold enough. It’s about the same distance from the equator south as Florida is to the north.

Ok, so this is the anecdote we always share when people find out that we lived in Brisbane for a year a while back, and they almost always ask about the weather:

We arrived in July, which was winter, and we were taken aback when we saw alot of people were wearing parkas with fur-lined hoods even. We must have looked ridiculous in our shorts and sandals. But we are used to Toronto winters, so we probably built up a level of immunity, lol.

Though, come summer/December I was taking like 2-3 showers a day from all the sweating. The poor Kid was almost comatose from the heat.

But whatever, it was probably one of the most enjoyable, peaceful years I've had in my life, so its all good.

I ❤️ Brisbane.

I'm on late shift so it's food for the whole day:

Mixed fruit with skyr and a mix of chocolate granola and two types of protein crisps.
