Hi everyone! I am sorry I haven't been around lately. I feel like I have been away from home. Well I have had a few strange things going on in my body that I don't get maybe some of you have been through it and can help. With in the last few weeks it seems as if my restriction has gotten tighter. I am only at 2cc of a 11cc band but everything get stuck and I end up making it worse by throwing up. I am so fustrated because up to this point I had been fine. I had my last fill almost 1 1/2 months ago. I have been loosing just fine.... What the F--K is going on. My Hubby is starting to worry and now so am I. I have changed to eating mushy foods for now but I really don't want…

OK guys here is my official weigh in for this weekend competition. We both started having lost exactly 43 lbs. So anything above that is how we determine the winner. I weighed this morning and I have lost a total of 49 lbs. So I have lost 6 lbs since the competition began. I now weigh 247 lbs. WHOO HOO!!!! I am so thrilled and excited that I have come off the plateau I was bit_hing about earlier. Can't wait to see all you guys in Vegas this weekend. Let the games begin.

Well today I just had my first fill. They put 1.6 cc's of fluid in me. I am not sure if that is a big or small amount. I did not feel any tightness at all, so I guess thats good. I was just wondering, after a fill, how often to you have to wait til you can eat something? You're probably tired of me talking about MY new motorcycle, but I've been up since 3:30 a.m. (I'm a very bad sleeper) and the world is asleep. So here I am. Yesterday's class was brutal.... B R U T A L. Friday night we were in a very boring classroom with 11 students, 6 had never been on a bike. So they're teaching the class how to shift gears and ride a motorcycle out of a book. Complete waste of time. Then yesterday we got to ride a little. I AM SO ANGRY WITH MY DOCTOR. MY SURGERY WAS GOING TO BE ON OCTOBER 6TH. HIS NURSE CALLED ME TODAY AND TOLD ME THAT I NEED TO PICK OCTOBER 7TH OR OCTOBER 5TH BECAUSE MY DOCTOR IS GOING ON VACATION. THEY SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME A WHILE AGO BEACAUSE NOW MY JOB IS UPSET BECAUSE THERE IS OTHER PEOPLE THAT HAVE ASKED FOR THOSE DAYS OFF FROM WORK. AND MY HUSBAND HAS TO CHANGE HIS DAYS OFF DUE TO THIS. I am down 12.8 pounds, went for first post op appt today, so that is good...HOWEVER I FELL TERRIBLE! So tired and sore and waaaaah! I am bummed, because I thought I would just bounce right out of bed after this! Is this normal? After nearly ten years of long distance dating, TODAY IS THE DAY that my BF moves in!!!!!!!!!! I leave in about 15 minutes to pick him up from the airport! Well, it's been a heck of a last two days. I am trembling with fear, but bit by bit I have actually started working on the construction of enclosing my porch. Big accomplishment today was completing the first of four window panels. The porch is 8'x28'. I bought four windows that are basically 4'x6', a regular front door, and french doors for the back. As some of you know i have been having marriage problems.My husband lies to me whenever he needs to at my expense. We are sitting at home today waiting for Ivan to blow through. We prepared for the worst, since the forcasters couldn't pinpoint landfall. Now it appears that Mobile is the projected path. I went and seen my doctor yesterday, for the first time since my surgery. It has now been 3 weeks and I am down 10 pounds. I was just wondering if this was about average? I am goign for my first fill in 2 weeks. I thought that was kind of soon, but I really have no idea?

My nephew just stopped in here and said his girlfriend's best friend called her the other day and said her side was hurting a little. She decided to go to the Doctor and have it checked. Her Doctor said she is full of cancer and had one week to live. She has a couple of small children (she is about 30-35) and told the Doctor she was going to take her children on a curise. He told her she better take someone with her because she probably wouldn't make it back. I have been so upset since I heard this, and I don't even know her. It just breaks my heart. i need more information -- this is like a foreign language. I am considering lap band, but I am not sure my insurance will cover it. (They cover RNY) But, I wanted to choose LAP Band because of not having to re-route my entire insides; and it seems less frightening. But, I am not sure what all the "fill" terminology means? I need some education--any advice? Anyone who can quickly bring me up to speed on the process, length of time needed to be off work, cost of fills, etc. ???

I just had my band placed on 9-2--been home recouping, etx. My mom lives about 7 miles away and kept my 5 year old son while I was in hosp. and lugged him to school, etx. She does that if I need her to about once every three months, but ONLY if I ask. OK, the low down on the vacation of a lifetime. I left Los Angeles on the 27th of August to spend some time with my Daughter and family before heading to Jamaica.
