Rebecca - That is one of the first things my husband said was "Do you think you can get your jacket made smaller?" We special ordered it and it cost a lot. I told him if not, maybe we could sell it and just get another one. It is funny how you get attached to some of that stuff! I hope you are feeling better now.

Leatha - I do know a single Harley guy, only he lives in Indiana. He comes out once in a while, I will have to introduce him to you. We are trying to get him to move out here, but he thinks it is too hot!

Yep, I ride, and have ridden since the age of twelve. First in the dirt, A Harley Sprint, then the street, 1947 Knuckle, the last of the knuckle heads.

I've owned and ridden just about everything. Currently on a rice burner (don't hate me, please). Roadstar, 1602cc. It's the heaviest bike I could find. figgered I needed the extra beef to carry me around.

Gosh, Ryan, I get those same feelings on my bicycle! I guess I just a "cheap thrill.":)

Ryan - Now those things are dangerous! Please be very careful! I wave at everyone, including the rice rockets! lol

Marie - You crack me up! Come over here and we will give you a good ride! lol

Hey Betty,

My DH asked about getting my coat made smaller, too. I'm not worried about it. He's getting some of the new FX wear eventually (protective riding gear), which is expensive. So I'll wait until after he does that. Then it will be my turn!

I am doing a little better. I'm taking Nexium and not eating much, just softs or liquids. There is definately something wrong. I'm trying not to panic. Just waiting for Monday so I can call my doc again. I'll let you know what happens. I'm not at all happy about not being able to eat right, but maybe I'll drop a couple more pounds to compensate. I'm actually weathering this fairly well considering what a worry wart I am. I'm sure it will be fine.

Rebecca - Now that is using your head letting him get his then hit him with your list! lol

I'm sorry you are having problems, hopefully it is something simple. I am glad to hear you are having it checked out. Please keep me posted. I will be thinking about you!

Allow me to say, you've got Taste! Fringe city! I love things with fringe hangin off it. I can picture you now ridin with all that fringe blowin in the wind. Where did you find a seat like that?

By the time you get to the point that your leather, flaming, fringe jacket falls off you, you'll probly be ready for a nice new one, you'de have earned it! So, be kind to yourself and kick back and enjoy the rewards!Pampering yourself is a good thing when you work hard!

Just to let you know, I married into a "rider family" and one of my goals is to be able to ride with my hunnys on his bike. He's always asking me if i'm ready yet, the answers always been no. So, one day He broght me home a little something.....A little Rebel! I still don't know what he was thinking. I've drove it a couple of times around the block, it's been parked for three tears now.

My hunny and his two brothers with the two six year olds in tow took a week and went riding in the California Mountains a month ago and had a blast! I'll attach a photo so you can see. My six year old son is still reeling from the adventure!

Thanks for sharing! I was curios....is riding something you do because of your hunny or is it something you do because you've always wanted to? Do you guys ever go on any bike rallys? I went to the Black Hills of South Dakota once. you know Sturgis....I was young and came home with a tatoo to show for the adventure!

My Dad used to have a motorcycle that he rode to work - I rode on the back sometimes, and always felt safe (my Dad was that kind of guy) - but... I don't know that I'd have the courage to ride one alone. I remember how heavy Dad's was - I couldn't lift it back upright by myself in highschool, and I was pretty strong (I thought!) Plus, I can't imagine hitting something just right and getting thrown across the road, like can happen with a regular bicycle. I know the tires are a lot fatter, but still...

I remember Dad telling me how motocycles only had about an inch or two of traction on each tire... I guess I've had too many bicycle crashes to be convinced that I could ride a motorcycle safely...

No, BF doesn't ride. There are some things he feels are worth risking his life for, but a motorcycle isn't one of them... lol

Lisa - I am a fringe nut! I just love it! We special ordered the seat, bags, fender skirt fringe, footboard fringe and handle bars fringe. I just wanted to make my bike look totally different from the old mans. lol My husband said when he rides behind me that every thing just dances and looks really cool.

We do a lot of traveling on our bikes, but have not been to the rallys yet. I don't know if I even want to fight that crowd! I do really enjoy getting out in the country and "cruzing" around. It just takes the stress right off you!

You would probably really love it if you ever got started. I started out riding behind my husband on his bike, but after a year decided I wanted one of my own. So, that is how I started learning how to ride. I took a Harley riding school, and then went down and got my license. My bike is big and it is heavy, but once you get it set upright, it takes care of its self as long as you keep it ballanced. It is a whole other world when you get on a bike and take off. I love the comodity of the other riders and people. We do take rides with the Harley Owner's Group at times, and it is fun, we usually end up at a place to eat. I would encourage anyone to learn and just do it.

I loved the pictures of your family, the only thing missing is you on back! You might just try to ride around the block with DH for a while, then gradually increase it. It won't take long, until you are yelling "not without me you don't".

Yeah well, we'll see if it gets to that point. Losing weight does alot of things for a person, if biking is one of them for me I'll give you some credit for it!
