stupid question

Ok, Ok, this is probably a stupid question, but I was wondering, if tanning was ok after being banded. I know it sounds crazy, but i was curious. I did not know if it would mess up anything, like my port or anything?

    I'm the queen of tanning..I am tan all year round, if Im not out by the pool I am at the tanning booth..in the beginning I did put sunscreen on my incisions..I did not tan until they were healed though..One time I forgot the sunscreen and did get my large incision tanned it is now a darker color
