Shows airing a segment on weight-loss

Just Read this:

The Jane Pauly Show, Wed. September 22nd, will be airing a segment on

weight-loss, "Does Thinner Mean Happier?" There are several guests.

Two of those guests are LAP-BAND patients.

Khaliah Ali (Muhammmad Ali's daughter) banded Aug 6th this year and down

25 pounds

Colleen Murdoch, banded a year ago and down 100 pounds

Both were banded at NYU.

Additionally Kalliah will be appearing on both INSIDE EDITION and the

new show THE INSIDER (produced by the Access Hollywood people).

Feeling better, thanks Betty. Still waiting for the irritation to go away. It's still there on liquids, so I have a way to go still. Hoping it is cleared up by Monday.

Leannie,

That is funny that you mentioned that (about writing Oprah). I actually got up the nerve and motivation to fill out the 15 page application, submit pics and video and sent it all to that Makeover show. I was hoping to get a bypass or something done. Never heard from them either. That was about the time I first heard about the band and Mexico. I am glad I kept researching alternatives to the by pass. Teresa

Seems to me that people like Oprah, Dr. Phil and even organizations like Weight Watchers look at surgery like the easy way out or even worse, like some sort of plague. What is so wrong with us wanting to do something soooo great for ourselves and needing a little help with it, and them spending hundreds of thousands of dollars a year in plastic surgery? It's all to make people feel better about their lives and themselves and i say people should do whatever works for them!!

People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones!!

We rock and will accomplish our goals with or without thier support!!

Katie
