Ok so I got a call from my friend today asking me if i checked my email. She had sent me a link for Zetacap a diet pill that is "supposed" to be WLS in a bottle. She has a client that swears it works. So i asked her ok so what do you do take the pill for the rest of your life, she said no you stop taking it when you reach your goal weight. My son is so sad today and was up crying last night. I had to break the news that our Hamster Maxie Died in his sleep. I though he was just wanting to sleep in his food bowl but when I noticed he had not moved all eveing, I got worried and yes he had passed sometime yesterday. I hope that my little one will be ok. We had a funeral and buried Maxie under one of the Rose bushes so that my son will always remember him.. So question - do I replace him now or just wait???

Okay girlie. You were supposed to have gotten a belly button ring on the 10th or so and you haven't signed on since the day before. I am so frustrated! Does anyone know what is going on with log in on this site! I have been trying for over a WEEK to get on. This happened once before so I had to change my name and use my work email address. Now it has happened again, and I had to OPEN a yahoo account! I don't want a yahoo account! There does not seem to be a way to get in touch with the webmaster. It says you can and an email pops up so that you can however there is no address for the webmaster. Hello All, I had my surgery on Sunday, Aug. 7. I had complications...:ermm and had to be sliced down the middle. I know that my case was special because my husband had the operation at the same time, is fully functional and is feeling great. My question is,....has anyone else had this occur to them?...Please let me know that I'm not the lone stranger. I got really depressed today because I am not further along in my recuperation. Since I have had the surgery I have been doing a lot of reading on nutrition and healthy eating. I have learned so much and everything makes so much sense to me now. It's no wonder why America is an over weight country. In the evening I watch television and its one fast food chain after another. One snack food after another. Wow I am so excited-not about actually having surgery, yuck, but about the long term after the surgery.. I started the Optifast on Tuesday morning... I was at 226.5 and now am at 222. Its not really that bad, so far I am not real hungry, I try to drink a lot of fluids,, and hold off on the Optifast until I am really hungry,,,, then I drink one.... I get 5 a day plus the Water, s/f Jello, crystal light etc.... Hey I have this Lucky Bamboo that is in desparate need of repotting. Does anyone have any suggestions? Can I do cuttings with the stalks? If so how? One more thing: I have a white Orchid that John gave me for Mother's Day this year. It is still alive can you believe that? It seems to be thriving in the pot it is in. Okay Nurses and other medical types...this is about my Dad. He's 66 years old, 6' tall, and weights around 270lbs. He's been really trying to watch his diet and lose some weight but is very discouraged because he seems stuck. But 6 months of watching his food hasn't resulted in much happening. He is NOT banded. He's fairly sedentary, as you can imagine, and uses a CPAP for sleep apnea. He also works odd hours. He's self-employed, is an amateur astronomer, and can't take the heat/humidity outside so he does alot of staying up all night working and star-gazing, then sleeping in the daytime. He's single. (!) Did anyone watch TV last night and see a show where a young teen went to Mexico to get a bypass operation? She was already skinny, but her mother was one of those uptight skinny bitches that always hounded her young daughter about weight. So the girl snuck off to Mexico and got a bypass operation. They showed the scars on her flat tummy, and I was shocked. She got really botched up, and the hospital said they needed to reverse the bypass. I fell asleep right during her operation, so I'm dying to know what happened. I was just flipping through channels, and I don't know any of the actors so I don't even know the name of the show.

Good news is the Doc does not think the burning sensation I have is reflux since I do not feel it anywhere below the collar bone. But alas still cannot sleep lying flat always have to be propped up so the answer to that is yes you do have reflux at night. Remedy - no eating 3 hours before bed. On Wed's have an appt with Ear, Nose & Throat doc to address the burning sensation as well as this. I have been getting dizzy when I am standing and have to kinda watch my balance. Doc say inner ear infection - So I was put on Zithromax till my appt which works for me. Got a fill cause I was eating everything I could.. Anyway I am at 1cc's and hopefully will not have any ot…

I hope this doesn't bother anyone, but I need advice. A co-worker witnessed a kitty getting hit by work this morning, so she told me. That alone sickened me because why didn't SHE care about Kitty? You guys know that I faint at blood, but I ran to the corner and somehow managed to check if Kitty was breathing. He wasn't. I wrapped him up in my jacket and carried him to my car, and then called Animal Control. I feel awful. Someone will call their pet to dinner tonight. And how much do you actually use? Be honest, I know the truth. I had two gym memberships, 5 tapes, 3 machines, hand weights, a pully doorknob thingy, and a bunch of other dusty useless crap. I did the most amazing, liberating thing that lifted 10,000 pounds off my shoulders. I got rid of it ALL. Every bit of it, including the gym memberships. I went to Walmart and bought a yoga pad and a simple barbell (Danskin has cute colorfully padded girly cute ones.) Now I walk my dogs, swim, ride my mountain bike, dance, hike, go motorcycle riding, walk the malls, clean my house lots more, etc. I do fun stuff and normal calorie-burning exercise, then I do some plain old f…

It's FINALLY my turn to take some time off of work and hit the road! I'm flying to the left coast today to see my bro and his family, and won't be back until Tuesday the 16th. We had a rotten start to our trip - the cabin staff gave us directions that took us 2 hours out of our way. As you all know my husband works installing sewer pipes for new deveolpments.. Anyway yesterday when they were making a man hole they destroyed a Bunny nest and needless to say 6 babies are without a home and the momma ran away. He went back this morning to get his thermos and he says they are still there huddled together. Now should I bring them home??? Should I let nature takes it's course?? Don't know much about raising bunnies, I know he does and we have wild one living close by if not under the shed in the back yard..

I'm lonely, and I need new clothes, plus it's never too early to start planning this summer's Vegas Bash/Clothing Exchange. We should do it earlier this time when the pool Water is still warm. I work in a hospital that just started doing Lapbands this March. They were doing RNY since 2001 but now Lapbanding is on the rise. My son is an only child. He is six. Minds other adults beautifully, but won't do a darn thing I ask him to do without being lippy, lazy or just not doing it! It drives me crazy! My DH just bought me a cookbook with of 15th century English & French cooking. I collect old books in general, Star Trek action figures, Micro Machine spaceships, blue glass and odd kitchen equipment. (I own two vegimatics...) So far, I've had ZERO morning sickness. (Knock on wood.) My only real complaint is that I have terrible gas cramps in my lower abdomin that hit me at night while I'm sleeping. I've tried gas-x and the only thing that gives me any relief is getting up and walking around. (So don't be surprised to see me walking my dog up and down the street at 3AM.) My doc says that all of this "extra gas" is very common in the first trimester, I'm just unlucky in the fact that I can't get rid of it! I'm not sure if it has anything to do with my band or not. I have been anxiously awaiting getting my band and although I am 336lbs I never thought about having loose skin! According to my Doctors, relatives, and friends I don't "look" like I weigh that much? I have asked friends to guess(I know this sounds cruel to some, lol) and they always guess around 250-280lbs. I think my height throws it off. I am 5'9 all of my family (women) are like 5'10-6'2. I am one of the shortiest. Can I start toning now to offset the extra skin that is "supposed" to be expected? I have silky straight hair for the first time in my life. I'm the "before" girl on the Garnier commercials, with the big poof of frizz-bomb on my head. I purchased the TrueCeramicPro after seeing the infomercial, and I used it for the first time today. It really does glide right through your hair! It didn't snap and pop the damaged pieces the way a curling Iron or straightening iron does, just glides right throught. Left my hair super-straight. I've had other straightening devices, but I'm sold. Cost $144.00 by the time they added in shipping, but worth it. I even got complimented from the Company Grouch, who usually doesn't even talk to me.

Dr. Billy told me to buy this book. It's around $30 bucks but I got lucky and paid $6.31 from E-bay, which included postage! So far I'm not extremely impressed since most of the information is stuff we all know (high calorie, dense food is more fattening than lighter choices) and there aren't as many pictures as I anticipated, but I was impressed with certain pictures. For example, there's a picture of a corn muff on the left page. Ok non band related...my sister is headed to the hospital. I am so excited it's her first and my little one isn't so little anymore. So maybe that will give me my baby fix. Jamie came out this weekend to Albuquerque, NM we only had 1 day to hang out and belive me... we made the best of it!!! She is the sweetest person, and just a great person to hang out with.
