It sucks staying away from here. Can somebody please summarize everything I've missed here so I can catch up? Here's me: Mom was released from the psyche ward but refuses to take meds. The last forced injection should last another week before she's back to her old self, so my brother & I (who made amends after many years) are taking our first baby steps towards what we believe to be the best plan. I am 9 days post op and am on 3 protein shakes daily and then just tea,crystal light or water...The problem is I am hungry and I thought I wasn't supposed to be. I was making dinner tonight for husband and son and some of the ground beef jumped out of the pan and without thinking about it I picked it up and ate it! I am not supposed to eat any food at all until November 30th, but with no restriction I am really finding this hard, By the way, the beef went down no problem! Now I also have a problem getting all that water in, If you can not drink until an hour after you drink a protein shake, and they take me an hour to drink them that kills at least six hours of a day some…

I just have to say that there was absolutely NO warning for her. It was not mentioned at all that one was on the way. Here is an email I just received from her. She called me yesterday on her drive home after the tornado hit. She was so upset and crying. By the time I got off the phone with her she was laughing so I am thankful for that. I've started to get really self concious about my body- more so now than when I was at my heaviest. I get lots of attention from men now, and I can't help but think- "Don't they know I'm still fat?". Ok, I have the fashion sense of a ant. I have worn blue jeans for so many years and everything goes with blue jeans(well almost). Someone just gave me some brown jeans and they fit great (size 18 down from a 26). I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT COLORS GO WITH BROWN JEANS!! Can someone help me? Hello All! I haven't been on lately due to a big problem that according to my surgeon is not a well known side effect of the band. This may or may not apply to many bandsters but I wanted to post anyway... On Sunday morning I was awakened by a SEVERE pounding of my heart, like it was going to beat right out of my chest. AFter chalking it up to severe work and personal stress, serious exercise and lack of sleep and hoping it would go away for 9 hrs, I finally decided to go to the ER. It turned out I had a heart rate of 179 (should be about a hundred or so beats less) and was in Atrial Fibulation (or A-Fib) where the top chamber of my heart beat erractically. After…

Has anyone seen the commercial? I find many models breathtakingly beautiful, but Tyra's snotty ghetto personality makes her one ugly Bit**, and now she has the nerve to put on a fat suit and walk around in disguise to see what it's like to weigh 350 pounds? Why not just put me on TV and hear it from real people, not a plastic bimbo? She said it was the most painful day of her life after experiencing nothing but discrimination. Been a hard year for Patty (and so for me as well. Better or worse, eh?) One of her cures almost killed her last spring. The trip to the ER with her on life support was a real wakeup call. Seems she was reacting to a med. She's had a few more surgeries. Mostly dealing with the Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy and the bionic stuff they have put in her. My family gets together for the Day of the Dead (Rancho Grande Cemetary) every year right outside of Dallas and we will be meeting and staying in Irving that is if we have enough money come Nov 4th to head down that way. OMG--talk about things being fat makes ya do!! My little brother got married last night. He's my only bro and this is his first wedding and family came from all over the country for it.
