Just had to show off my two other grandkids. I just got these in the mail the other day. Talley Jane (TJ) is in the pinkish shirt and she is 5 soon to be 6. Ashlynne Renee (Ash) is in the purplish shirt and she is 3 soon to be 4. I miss them alot. They live in East TN.

My daughter called this morning at 6 to let me know that Samuel James Foster just arrived fat and sassy. He weighed 7 lbs and 15 ounces. She was tired and ready for rest. As soon as I can I will get a picture and post it. I won't get there till the 13th of Feb. I am dying over here. LOL!!! WHOO HOO!! New grandbaby!!!!

Well, guess what, I am a cheerleader on the mom squad, in an effort to show support for my daughters cheerleading team, I was recruited to be on the mom squad. It is really funny, never dreamed I'd ever be on a cheering squad. We had our first practice last night and it was hilarious. We are harder to teach than my four year olds team... or so the coach says. Don't worry there won't be any short skirts involved...yikes.. The main name is Southwest Universe so all the teams are named after planets and such, my girls team is the twinkle stars, and well some of the moms wanted to be called "Uranus" but some of the more conservative moms like myself voted that one out.. …

Ok first of all, I bought a 2006 Chrysler 300 Touring edition today. And I got a great deal. Pics to be posted tomorrow. Ugh, I just had my 2nd laser hair removal on my chin last night. Went *much* better than last time regarding the pain part. But this morning I woke up to a swollen chin with about 20 or so whiteheads and clearly more are forming under there. Yuck!!! Any suggestions? Do i just slather my chin in some pimple cream that's supposed to dry this out? Do I slather in anti-bacterial like neosporin or bacitracin? Any other suggestions? I have a weekend full of activities involving being with lots of other people and hardly want a chin full of whiteheads! Gross!:yuck:

Where the heck is he? Here in the Panhandle of Texas we're used to seeing major snow and blizzards and ice and all the other nasty stuff associated with Winter. We have not seen but a trace of snow and only 1 day of ice...Im not complaining, but this drought SUX! My yard is brown, dry and crunchy...blech! The forecast for Amarillo today...Sunny & 65 degrees! Great Harley riding weather for sure. I told hubby that God was smiling down on all the motorcycle owners. I have some clothes (some never worn) that I want to get rid of. They range in size from 22 to 18. I have cute jackets (one is a pink tweed I have never worn). I have a pinkish purple jacket and crop pants. I have some halter tops in green print. I have some pants. A couple of dresses in size 18. The dresses are very frilly and sleeveless. With a nice wrap they would be very sexy. I have some shoes too. Mostly size 8, 8.5, to 9. Some are Wide some are M. If you are interested then please PM me.

I havent been on in a few weeks because while playing basketball i fell and sprained 3-4 ligaments in my ankle and havent found time to get on and let you know! I am on crutches until further notice and I have a long road to recovery, because I sprained the second largest ligament in your body. The deltoid ligament is very hard to sprain and harder to rehab. We went on tour in 2000 doing House Concerts and had an L.A. based film crew follow us around and do a documentary. We finally got a distribution deal signed sealed and delivered last month. My husband just bought this package, the one that has Brooke Burke on the front, it comes with the workout tapes and one of those big blow up workout balls. Has anyone else used this? I tried it last night and did fine with the ball except when you have to roll onto itwith your stomach. It really pushed on my band and port. Has anyone else tried this on the big workout balls and have the same problem? I was wondering if there was any way I could move to keep it from putting pressure right on my band? There has been a ton of stress in my life lately and I need to get it off my chest. I have a precious daughter that is 4 1/2. We started seeing her struggle with her emotions about 10 months ago and spoke with her doctor about it. The doc suggested that we give it some time and let her get through this little "phase" that she was going through. As time passed her behavior and moods got worse and worse. 2 weeks ago I took her to a family counseling center to meet with a counselor to try and help her manage her anger, saddness and frustration. She is a very bright little girl that loves school and has made tons of friends in preschool this year. We blamed the anger on her b…

I don't know why it's been so hard for me to figure out a goal, but thanks to everyone's response on my other thread, I have a goal, and my heart stopped when I realized how close I am! OMG, I think I busted an ovary, but I RODE THE BULL! I'm so excited I'm coming out of my skin! My husband and I purchased a new washer about 6 months ago and I thought I would share my thoughts on it in case anyone is looking to upgrade, be it tax return season or whatever. My husband and I are appliance snobs I guess. As expensive as they are, we want the bells and whistles we need and we want them to work like they should. Last night both of my chows got out of the yard, and unfortunatley one of them was hit by an SUV. Princess Rachel is a beautiful 2 year old chow that I've had since she was 6 weeks old. After the incident, a neighbor notified us and we brought Rachie in the house and observed her. She seemed shaken up and had a cut to her paw and her snout, but not in any trauma. The driver stopped by later in the evening to let us know he didn't actually run her over with his tire, but she did hit his bumper and went running off. I am 37 years old and have high blood pressure. I weigh about 200 lbs currently and am seriously considering having the lap band. I have seen Dr. Spivak in Houston and taken all the required test. I havent scheduled because I want to know that it will work. I have been reading some of the forums and have seena few postings where people are losing very little weight in a few months and that seems very discouraging to me. Before, I put my 14,000 into this, I guess I want to hear more success stories. Also, any of you had your surgery done with Dr. Spivak? would like to hear about it.

So this morning I noticed I have new stretch marks. It wouldn't be so bad if they were in the usual spots, like my boobies, lower back, etc. Nooooo this was on my upper arms, and not like the back or by the armpit, this was on the front of the arm. Also, I found one right on the top of my shoulder. My beautiful round shoulder that I used to love showing off with flirty tops now has a nasty ugly stretch mark on it. Gosh, this is terryfying. How do I stop the stretch marks? I'm afraid of ruining my whole body and even when I lose weight I will look scarred :cry :help:

Since I have started losing I just can't quit buying nightgowns. I think it is because I never could find one that fit me just right. When I did, I would buy a bunch of them. Now i have too many!! LOL!!! Anyone else have this problem?

Don't you hate it when.... You're 3 days post op and decided it was time to take Milk of Magnesia (laxative) and then every toilet in your house backs up? This was me this morning... I loaded up on Milk of Magnesia. So, it's 2:15PM, time to go to the bathroom, and guess what I find??? The toilet is backed up. I plunge, and plunge, then try to flush. The Water comes all the way to the top. So quick like a bunny, I disconnect the water sprayer in the tank... then I walk out of my bedroom and my daughter is standing in her bathroom plunging with towels around the toilet. Well, I had made it through the holidays but I just sat here in my after holiday depressions and food guilt so I DESERVED A BREAK! I went to the phone and we went on a cruise. We had the best time ever! A MUCH needed relaxing vacation. A bit chilly but it was overall fantastic. We met another couple there too. She had weight loss surgery also so we immediately clicked with talking about the band. Plus, 2 other people at our lunch table said they had the band too! Then, when I was out at one of the shows, the guy next to me had the band. Here is one of my fav pics......

:update: We went to Dr Jay's office today for MsJoy's two week post-op visit. Even making her Carnation Instant Breakfast with ice cream, she still managed a 13 pound loss. WooooHoooooo!:wow2: He checked her incisions and they were all doing great! And then the BIG news...he put her on mushies. Look out bananas! Three weeks till her first fill. Did anyone see the show today with Khaliah Ali (Mohammad Ali, daughter). She had lap-band surgery and lost 100 lbs. Her doctor was D. George Fielding in New York.. Has any one here used this Dr. also or his colleague Dr.Christine Ren. Dr. Fielding is from Australia and he had the surgery himself 7 years ago.. he also developed the newly used technique for placing the band. Just thought I would share what I saw and learned.
