I just have to tell someone, lol, so ya'll are it! :clap2: After being told for... um... all of his life that he should record an album, Mikey FINALLY did! Woo hoo!! The album is all hymns done with piano & vocals. He's got a gorgeous voice! Anyway, if you're interested: www.mikeycunningham.com I can't wait for his next one! He's already got plans in the works, once we get done with this ol' surgery thang. ((Happy dance!!))

HEY CHICAGO!!!! I need your help! I am going to the Oprah Show at the end of the month and I need wardrobe help. I live in Texas down by Houston so I am not used to your weather. Any advice on what to bring with me besides the obvious coat and gloves? Do I need thermals for underneath my pants? I planned on wearing to the show a nice pair of jeans and boots with a black velvet jacket. My mom is freaking out and going out and buying all kinds of tights and coats. My mother in law is from Michigan and she knows how the cold is up there and is not worried about it all but I am a virgin to it all! HELP!!!! :omg: What do you suggest?

HA! I knew you couldn't resist. Guys, this is NOT the "Why are women so weird" thread so don't even go there. If you want a thread to cluck about us, go start one. This spousal unit of mine is too strange for words. The more I lose, the weirder he gets. He's off work temporarily. I figured he'd finally finish the tile job from 3 years ago. He didn't have time though because he was busy diamond-plating his workbench. Yes, you read that right. (Diamond plate is expensive shiny metal sheet stuff for backs of trailers n' junk.) I recently needed his help out back, but he insisted he was too busy tied up on a project in the garage. Our house needs painted, the …

Inspired by the free coca-cola calendars link; I thought I'd share some of my favorite sites for coupons and freebies. I have young adult/teenage children, and the only gift I can be sure they wont return is a gift card. There's a site here that offers discounts for gift cards to all their favorite stores. Before I go out and buy anything major, I look to see if there is a discount or coupon offer I can print out or online code I can use to order that item. I love love love to find great deals. I thought maybe some of you might enjoy this info so here you go! http://www.giftcardsagain.com http://www.couponmountain.com http://www.eversave.com http://www102.coo…

Hi everyone, I am really disheartened by the number of negative posts I've been reading lately, and I know I'm not alone. I value this website, and I just hate what has been happening lately. So, without further ado, my suggestions for how to make LBT an even better place: 1. Respect the person who started the thread by staying on topic. If you want to discuss a different topic, feel free to start a new thread. If the thread starter tells you straight out that you are off topic, have the courtesy to respect their wishes. Again, you always have the option to start your own thread. 2. Stop flaming people for expressing their opinions. Certainly state your opin…

I can't get a band until I can figure out how to pay for it myself, so I thought I should join Jenny Craig or something. After finding out the cost of JennY Craig, I was very dissapointed I can not afford it. I went online and looked around and found that ediets has a 'alternative to jenny craig diet'. I signed up for $15 a month. The diet planner creates a meal plan based on everything I can find in the grocery store, and it includes lots of frozen and canned foods that can be heated in the microwave. It gives me an entire shopping list of things I need for that week. I am so excited. It really doesn't seem to be all that expensive. I can probably get away with spendi…

I bought my hubby "Stop Smoking" treatment from Laser Concepts. His best friend got a gift certificate for Christmas, so I figured I'd let them try together. The center also does laser weightloss. I kicked back in the recliner and let them laser my ears and toes. At this point, the only thing I have to lose is weight. They told me to diet and exercise, ha ha, imagine that? I told them if I lose any weight I certainly won't attribute it to the lasers. But the treatment is supposed to help with energy and cravings, so I went for it. Anyone familiar with this?

Today we were talking about getting a really special souvenir while down there to remember the trip by...aside from the band, which we have already named Betsy. So tell me, what did you find in your adventures the day before or after surgery while down there?? any cool shops, art and crafts, pottery, guitars, or all the other wonderful things MX is known for? Give me some idea. I want to study up on what I might get before going up there.

Okay I just have to vent this... am I the only one TOTALLY DISGUSTED by the commercials and the whole premise of this movie? Well, I don't really know the premise of it and don't intend to since I would never go see it, but as far as I can see from the commercials it's all about how funny a black guy dressed up as a big, fat woman is. WHAT IS SO FUNNY ABOUT THAT??!! I honestly feel like picketing. Or better yet, throwing egg salad at the people waiting in line. Why don't I see anyone in the media saying anything about this? Is it just me? Possibly I'm oversensitive and am the only one who feels this way. Am I???

Here goes - Seems that my Husband and I have decided to call it quits after 2 children and 10 1/2 yrs of marriage. No it is not because I lost Wt but because of his family. We have gone rounds about the way my MIL was treating my children. For example my youngest (4) was and does call her Mommy - In order for him to get something from her she would have him call her Mommy or not get what ever he wanted. She would try this with my oldest but I would stress in front of her that this is your Grandma. To some it may sound petty but I cannot stand her so it makes it that much worse. She would not feed my children according to the food schedual meaning Breakfast, lunch or snack…

My wife and I have considered this idea just for comedy sake and because it will be a good solid memorial. Every time you lose 25 pounds, buy a bag of dog food, cement, soil - whatever you like. Make sure its a 25 pound bag though. Then place it in a large and humerous stack in your garage. Every time you think "mmm chocolate" or "mmmm mc donalds". Walk into the garage and look at your "stack o' whatever". Then try and pick up your "Stack o' whatever". When you see those 2, 3, 4, 5 (and so on) 25 pound bags, I suspect your motivation will be... enhanced. Feel free to join us in our insanity!

UNDERWEAR IS IMPORTANT. Listen up! Sunday, October 30, 2005 If you don't laugh out loud at this one, call the morgue and reserve a tray, because you are dead. Always wear clean underwear in public, especially when working under your vehicle. From the Northwest Florida Daily News comes this story of a Crest View couple who drove their car to Wal-Mart, only to have their car break down in the parking lot. The man told his wife to carry on with the shopping while he fixed the car in the lot. The wife returned later to see a small group of people near the car. On closer inspection, she saw a pair of male legs protruding from under the chassis. Although the man…

Now we can store my Sportster in our garage on her pretty new trailer. He did all the welding with some help from other welder friends.
