  1. Cindy- if you want to meet and do the causeway, let me know. I usually walk it on Monday mornings around 8 or 9---Heather
  2. Cindy, Is your husband Ron Masters?
  3. LOL vinesqueen. Glad I'm never alone.
  4. Ok, so I have been stuck at the same weight for weeks now. I have been working out, walking the causeway for 50 minutes, watching what I eat, blah, blah, blah--- no weight loss. So, I said screw it, if I'm not lossing, I may as well eat whatever and I've slacked off on exercise this week. When what to my wondering eyes appears but 3 pounds lost in the past week. It just makes no sense. Anyone else have something which makes no sense?
  5. I'm at 2.0 cc and going back for another fill on Wednesday. I can eat way too much. At times I feel restiction, but only if I eat too fast.
  6. I've been at the same weight for about a month now. I am beyond frustrated. I've been walking several miles at least 4 days a week and nothing.
  7. I've had numerous fills, and still don't feel that "restriction". I would speak with your doctor. It usually takes several fills to figure out your fill point. I know that I feel much fuller if I eat hard protein first ( ie--meats first then some veggies). The most filling food I have found is breakfast sausage patties. The doctor told me that it's not that you can't eat more than 4oz, you just shouldn't. We should retrain our eating to stop at 4oz. Personally I do more around 4 1/2 to 5 oz. Some days I am defenitely more full than others. I'll probally go for another fill next week. Good Luck!
  8. I'm still not kicked in. I went to the Dr last wednesday for a fill-up to 2.0cc now. He said I shouldn't need any more, but I feel absolutely no difference at all! I'm going back next week.
  9. I can believe Anna Nicole lost with Trim Spa. I lost 80 lbs in about 6 months with Metabolife pre-kids. Of course, as soon as you stop taking it, you gain it all back. Now my metabolism is so screwed up that nothing works--except the band.
  10. I got mine today. I love them. They are sooo soft and seemless. Nice. Thanks for post.
  11. Hi there! Welcome, welcome. Regardless if your insurance would cover the band, I would seriously reconsider bypass surgery. There are some major major risks involved. I would really push for the band. Do your homework and speak directly with a higher-up in your insurance company about coverage and risk factors. Good luck to you.
  12. In Scientology, they believe that you shouldn't even talk to the baby for the 1st seven days of life. Give me a break. They say it will cause the baby undue stress--WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY TALKING ABOUT--- and in case they haven't figured it out--scientology was started by Ron L. Hubbard (who is my cousins ex-boyfriends dad). I, Christian or not, am not going to believe anything some whacked out science fiction writer has to say is the TRUTH! Oh yeah, well, humm, then wake up and smell the coffee or cramps or contractions or major birth pains. Oh honey, Tom says, remember don't make a sound during labor, shhh, you're going to give the baby undue stress.LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. Sorry, I just had to put in my two cents.
  13. I'm not quite restricted enough yet either. I would definetly get a bit more of a fill. The Dr will probally only go about .3cc anyway. You can always get it taken out. I go back in next week for more of a fill. I can eat everthing also. Good luck.
  14. I don't have too many problems. I had some wonderful crustry hot italian bread the other day. Tonight, I almost PB'd on pizza crust though--ouch. I can eat wraps and toasted or grilled bread. I don't dare try soft bread.
