Wow - Never in my wildest dreams could I have walked that long, but I am pretty glad I did it. It was the Relay for life Cancer walk here in my hometown. I took 2 - 15 min breaks and wow when I was done it just blew me away that I could do it since b4 the surgery my knees were so bad I could only walk half a block and of couse be huffing and puffing from the Asthma attack I was bound to have. I carried my inhalers with me just in case but only had to use them once. I Thank My band for a whole new lease on life. Ladies and Men remember check those breast!!

Last night I had dinner with Jenne (Princess N' The Pea) and her husband. She ate like a lovely little bandster, I ate like the bear that tried to get into Kimberlilly's house. She brought Voodoo & Sachi squeaky toys, which Voodoo immediately claimed as his own (selfish boy takes after Daddy Chris.) Voo brought both toys to bed last night. Anybody that brings toys to my children is okay by me! I was going to make a list of all the bandsters I've met, but now I realize the list is way too long... Francesa, Donali, Penni, Vera, Carole, Michelle, Ginny, Teresa, Megan, Leatha, Babs, Karen H. Vika, Sonja, Greg, The Doodle... the list goes on and on and on. Who h…

Wow, just got off the phone with my surgeon's office....the attitude, my God! Now I would not be venting like this, but this is the second snotty attitude experience I have had. Today I call to check the status of my chart and all my incoming reports. So I ask to talk to the nurse....the receptionist gets back on and asked me what I was calling for???? (This is only the second time I have ever called to talk to anyone!) I told her I had questions about my chart and wanted to know what the self-pay price is just in case I have to go that way. I would like to be prepared for the cost and figure out how to pay for this surgery, you know?! Well, she says the nurse is no…

So she's in my neck of the woods visiting her In-laws and we were able to meet at the Chick-Fil-A so the kiddos could play while we talked about all of you all! hehe, we had such a nice time bragging about how LBT is such a great place and about how wonderful ALL of you are. It was a great two hours or so, and let me just say that Paula is just as nice and pretty and REAL as you think she is by knowing her online. And our daughters were fast friends from the second they met, and had a ball playing together in the playroom. Paula has a pic of the girls and one of my little man holding a balloon...she'll post them when she gets home, I'm sure. So here are me and …

Well, weve just returned from visiting Mike's family in NC. On Monday, we loaded the zoo up and went to the mountains to visit his only remaining grandmother. Mike's parents, his brother & SIL and all their kids were with us as well. Had a great day. And, as usual, when we go in the summer time, Mike & his brother bring the kids swimming in a creek near his grandmothers house. Ive never been. Never had the desire to go; too much walking I guess? Well, this time I went. And yes, there was alot of walking to get to the creek - but MOSTLY - we had to climb around BIG rocks to get to the desirable spot (didnt know this til I got there). And I did it! So…

Is there something in the stars, moon or atmosphere that's giving me the willies? Yesterday a young guy was killed on his motorcycle very close to my home, at an intersection I rode my own motorcycle by the previous day. I wanted to read the news story but it's not in the paper. What's worse is that I stumbed upon a second motorcycle death over the weekend not far from home. This makes me very afraid of my motorcycle - is it an omen or just coincidence? Next I see something that's got me sick and crying. A cop was chasing a high school kid for spraying graffiti. The cop jumped in a back yard to search for the kid and was rushed by two pitbulls, so his partner sh…

  13. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y49/denmother1999/bearprintonthewindow002.jpg I think that thing belongs to a bear! It wouldn't be such a big deal if my husband didn't just leave for Canada for a week long fishing trip! Now I am wondering if that big old bear is coming thru the window while me and my little boy sleep! I called the sheriff's dept. and they said the usual, no food outside, no garbage --which we have neither. It started coming around when we put up a new bird feeder, but it kept knocking it over--my DH said it was a racoon. now this...... YOu guys think it's a bear? Kimberly :think

Okay, so now I play WoW, the Sims2 (love my digital doll house) and a couple of stratagy games. Those are my current games. Anyone else? I know Nana plays WoW (I think we are on different servers) and I know several play Pogo (not sure what it is, have been afraid to check it out.) And every day We remember him just by glancing out the window. Here's to fond memories, to our flag, to our friends, to you. Please be safe this weekend, and share your plans here. I might nag hubby till he caves to drive to California and invade John (Penni won't be there cuz she's in Florida.) Then Monday, one of us Bandsters is coming to Vegas to meet me and play with me! I recieved this in an email today and it made me think. I thought you all might enjoy it: Too many people put off something that brings them joy just because they haven't thought about it, don't have it on their schedule, didn't know it was coming or are too rigid to depart from their routine. I got to thinking one day about all those women on the Titanic who passed up dessert at dinner that fateful night in an effort to cut back. From then on, I've tried to be a little more flexible. How many women out there will eat at home because their husband didn't suggest going out to dinner until after something had been thawed? Does the word "refrigeration" mean nothing…

Hiya, I just wanted to post a chart of my weightloss progress. I've been banded for about 6 months now and I notice a pattern developing in my weightloss. It's a loss of a couple of pounds in a few days time followed by a plateau. Sometimes they last 2 + weeks. I guess what I am trying to say is that when you are on a plateau , eventually you will break it and continue loosing!!

I did it, and it's F A B U L O U S! So far all I've done is my lower eyeliner. It's the finest line, as if I just used a couple bristles from an eyeliner brush. And it's already faded somewhat, so it's barely noticable, but when I wake up, my eyes are already defined. I paid $140, which includes 4 free touch-ups. It's expected to fade, but most people don't want to look shocking, so they start with a fine line. I'm getting my upper lids done in a week, and I'm having her go much heavier (since the lower ones faded in less than 2 weeks.) Four weeks after the procedure you can go for your first touch up. The woman I went to is great. She does this thing where sh…

Did anyone see Rob and Amber's wedding last night? Boy it was amazing, I wish I could have a fantasy wedding. I've gotten married twice and never have had a REAL wedding. The first time I got married, I was 17 and we had a small dinner party at my mom's house, I wore this horrible black flowery print dress (that was so tight, I could hardly breath), should have suspected that marriage was doomed w/ the black dress. And when I married my husband four years ago, I was 9 1/2 months pregnant w/ our daughter, so I wore a lovely lavendar meternity dress. I have a pair of old b/j shorts that come about an inch above the knee - and they hide everything that needs to be hiden - all the dimples and bumps from cellulite! Since I am so tired of trying on shorts, I got my tape measure out, measured the seam on the outside and started shopping & measuring the outer seam as soon as I found something long enough that caught my eye. So the other day, while I was trying to find a Crystal-proof pedometer (still looking) I bought a new gadget. It's a body fat analyzer, and calculates body fat % in a few seconds. It is made by Bell, the same maker of helmets of all things. And it has memory for 6 people. I spent $15 on it. So far, it is accurate, and the reading jibes with the scale from the fitness office at school. Body fat % is different than a BMI, because the BMI is just another scale... Yipppeeeeee!!!!!!!! We spent the day going back and forth with our realtor, their realtor, and the buyers. After many, many conversations, we decided to accept their offer of $625K with a $5K credit. They were a sure thing since they were already pre-approved. Since the living expenses for me to stay in San Diego are over $3000 a month, we decided to go for it even though it was a little lower than we originally wanted. We will close escrow June 13th. We will probably actually move on June 11th and I will be in Oregon with my hubby by the 13th. I am so excited!! Now I have to find a mover. Thanks so much for all of you good wishes and crossed fingers...hehe.

The discussion started with me expressing my feelings to him, and how his actions play a role in my feelings, and how he makes me confused. I told him that he does things that makes me feel as though he doesnt respect me as a person.
