I'm seen this litterally dozens of time, and it makes me laugh each and every time. "Cat, I'm a kitty cat!" http://www.30ishregs.com/kittycat.swf Do you have a favorite flash movie?

I'm going home in less than 2 weeks, and I'm starting to get home sick... I get to go home for the summer, yay! for me. I'll be getting home in time for my son's high school graduation, but I miss his prom. Of course, once I get home I'll be getting my first fill, 10 weeks out. I feel like I've done really well so far, 25 pounds in 8 weeks isn't bad by half. But it is definately time for a fill, since there are many days I doubt I actually have a band, just a port! The only bad thing about going home is actually a bitter sweet thing. I have a very old dog, his name is Astro, and we got him used 6 years ago. He was 10 when we got him, which is old for a lab, but no…

Seen any GREAT movies lately? I just saw Amityville Horror. Critics gave it 4 stars, but it only gets 3 from me. Started out okay, but the actress does all those stupid things that make you scream at the screen, you know, like instead of running for her life she.... Then I saw the "Sahara" movie. Not sure of the name, but Matthew McCaunahey's (sp?) smile still has my tongue flapping in the wind, and his bod ain't too hard on the eyes, either. Totally unbelieveable plot, but if you can get past the fact he, his partner & Penolope Cruz have like 9000 lives each without any gear, food or Water, then it's a Ga-reat flick! Funny, exciting & awesome fun. Loved …

Let us all pray that the families of the two eight year old girls, Laura Hobbs and Krystal Tobias, will find the strength to carry on and find comfort in the Lords love. The two little girls bodies were found at dawn yesterday morning in a park in Zion, Il. They apparently were stabbed to death. They had gone out sunday afternoon for a bike ride and never returned home. Solace can be found in the fact that they were best friends and were each others shadows everywhere they went and that their spirits will remain that way for eternity. I cannot imagine outliving my children but the way these children were taken has got to be unbearable for the families. So please, when you…

Hello everyone! I just had to share because I feel like I'm going crazy...hehe. The realtor called at 9:45am PST and said that we might have an offer. The people may not want it to the end of June though. That would be ok I think. I guess they are willing to do an 30 day escrow but as a result would want to pay $5000 under our offer. For just two more weeks, I think I can stick it out to get our asking price. This is so exciting and amazing. We bought our home just south of San Diego in Dec. 2001 for $299,100. Now we are asking $630,00-$645,000...some appreciation huh! As you can see, the insane rise in cost of living is why we are moving to Oregon. It will be …

This has nothing to do with a lap-band. Im just in need of some love & guidance from my extended family! Were moving. Several years ago we bought our first home. A small (1200 sq ft) 3 br 1 bath - cutiest little house. After our 3rd & last baby came along, we realized that we needed a little more room. So, 2 years ago we bought this home that we are currently living in. Even though my older ones were only 7 & 2, it took them a good year to "get over" that move. Anyway, my parents bought another home last summer and their old house has been vacant. They lived in this house over 40 years - only home Ive ever known. Everyone confused yet? Well, m…

Okay, I broke down and will post a shot of my mug. It actually came from the DMV of all places! It's not the best quality but it really does look like me, warts and all...crooked teeth, wide nose, squinty eyes, and bags! Oh no! I usually look like a tick in pictures but this one has left off my swollen body, so it's actually not bad...but, here's me. Hope you aren't disappointed! LOL! Hey, do I look like I'll be 40 on Monday? Lie to me... (oh please picture, don't be so big I'm all over the screen...if it is, someone please make it smaller!!!)

Can you believe that Angie was booted last night? I thought or hoped it would have been James instead. OH WELL!! Koror tribe finally got rid of Willard but did they have to gloat so much in from of Ulong when they were eating the stew. How rude was that? And can I just saw how sexy Bobby Jon is!!!!!!!!!!! WOOF!!!

Yay, one of those silly personality quizzes! Click "What kind of dog are you" in the lower right of this page: http://www.gone2thedogs.com/ I am a Standard Poodle... Personality Intellignet and fun loving (hou'd have to be, looking like that) the Standard Poodle is a real athlete - good at hunting and swimming. Happy, good -tempered and lively, this animal is camp on four legs, (and a fancy coat). The only downside is that the Poodle like to look good and demands a serious grooming every six weeks.

We bought our house that closed escrow on 12-21-01. On the TDS(Transfer Disclosure Statement) and the MLS(Multiple Listing Service) it was disclosed that we were on sewer. 6 months later we found out the hard way that we had a septic tank ...a bunch a sh*t floating around in our side/back yard. We were informed by the health dept. to get hook up to sewer cause we're on a lake, have a creek running through our land, and we didn't have enough land(1/2 acre) to put in a new leach field that had failed. Meanwhile, we contacted the realtor, Century 21, and asked what they knew...they never called back. In 4 years we have hired a lawyer, went through 3 mediations and 2 deposit…

**I copied and pasted this from my email** I hope the picture will go through for you of this Army soldier in Iraq with his tiny "plot" of grass in front of his tent. It's heartwarming! Here is a soldier stationed in Iraq, stationed in a big sand box. He asked his wife to send him dirt (U.S. soil), fertilizer and some grass seeds so he can have the sweet aroma and feel the grass grow beneath his feet. If you notice, he is even cutting the grass with a pair of a scissors. Sometimes we are in such a hurry that we don't stop and think about the little things that we take for granted.

Since I just went shopping when my two daughter's were visiting, I realized that I have about 15 pair of capri's size 22/24 that I need to get rid of. I also probably have some tops as well I can part with. So anyone need that size in tops or bottoms? PM me or email me at Penni60@aol.com

I need some input from all you experienced mothers, fathers, nurses, grand's, aunts, neighbors..... My little neice is 4 months old. The cutest, fattest, sweetest little butterball youve ever seen. Headfull of black curley hair too! But today, my sister - Ashley - called my attention to something strange. Baby Katy Beth keeps her head tilted to the right. Ive noticed that when I hold her she always seems to lean to the right, but just figured her muscles werent strong enough to keep her upright. After Ashley told me this, I 'tested' her by helping her sit up in my lap & on the floor, and sure thing... she leans to the right. She will pick her head up straight…

It is really bad right here where I live now, a tornado hit 8 miles from us! They are popping up all around us, some is just really bad storms with hail. Please send prayers for those being hit. I have no idea how much damage has been caused. Our sirens went off in our neighborhood, it has been pretty scary.

Many of you may not know that I am a Viet Nam Vet. One of the most outrages things ever to happen to me in life was to return to this country and to face the hate and negative feelings people had towards me because I served in the conflict. I did what my government ask of me and I'd do it again if I had to. We are still experiencing the same thing towards many of our dedicated men and women who give up a portion of their lives if not their life altogether to serve that this nation will remain free. Those that oppose these men and women do so verbally, in print and in many other ways. They can do this because of the freedoms they have due to the men and women who ha…

As you know, I've been teasing Penni about being being an internationally renoun super spy and celebrity pharmasist... {Dangeresque, Dangeresque} And because I'm especially clueless, it occured to me that this was a little too obsure for most folks. Sorry about that. This is one of the best sites on the net, IMHO... www.homestarrunner.com This one introduces the fabulous TROGDOR! http://homestarrunner.com/sbemail106.html (I've gotten two different teenaged boys to do a spit take by singing the Trogdor theme song... ) Trogdor has also been mentioned on Buffy the Vampire Slayer... This one specifically deals with the entire Dangeresque theme. http://ho…

I had to go to Princeton, KY today to see about Mom. Thank goodness I was only an hour away. As I walked into the hospital room, I was scared to death and thought I was in the wrong room when I looked in the bed and saw mom. She was pale and curled up in the fetal position in the bed. She was in pain and had just thrown up. She had a CT scan of her abdomen and we won't know the results from that till tomorrow most likely. If it shows an abscess then they will have to do surgery. The doctor thinks it is her diverticulitis acting up. She is getting Cipro to treat that. They are also giving her Flagyl as well. Her potassium is low, I wasn't told how low, so they …

Okay, I cannot begin to explain how frustrated I am right now with school. I spent a full hours sobbing and wailing over this, and I never cry that hard. If I can’t get in the college of business, I don’t get my scholarship. If I don’t get my scholarship, there is no point in me being here any more. I don’t qualify for any financial aid because my husband makes too much money. I don’t even qualify for loans, but we can’t afford to pay for me to go anymore without the scholarship. I left my husband and son to pursue this dream of getting a college education. I left with their full blessing, by the way. I moved 800 miles away from all my friends and fami…

As I rejoice in my own mother's recovery process, I learn of a good friend of mine whose mother is on her death bed. She has fought the good fight of Pancreatic Cancer for the last 8 months. Jan, good friend, just informed me that she is at home with her mother and Hospice has been there and they don't expect her mother to last through the night. Please keep her in your prayers. Thank you so much for all your kindness and caring.

Okay my So, nad I got into a really big fight this week. We still haven't resolved it yet, but plan to this week end. It is a long distance relationship. He says that if I ask someone else, that they'll agree with him, so I will ask you guys. My SO has a person that he sometimes associate with and I don't like him. The associate and I had bumped heads several times before I met my SO, and had some very negative words. I will not tolerate him at all now because of some of the things that he has said to me. I also told SO what those things were, and why I felt so strongly about them. It was an emotional thing for me to do, because a lot of it stemed from my childhood…

Had to laugh about this one....In Touch Weekly Magazine (April 11 issued) has an article about Sharon & Ozzy Osbournes $267.000 Quest to look younger. In it they mention that Sharon spent "$69,200" for her lap band. Wow! I really got a deal on mine for only 8K! Rhonda

HELLO EVERYONE! IM HOME, AND I AM BANDED!!!!!! EVERYTHING FAR EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. THE DOCTORS AND STAFF WERE WONDERFUL, THE HOTEL WAS BEAUTIFUL, AND THE SCENERY WAS SPECTACULAR! I WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH DOCTOR ORTIZ AND DOCTOR MARTINEZ. THEY ARE VERY SKILLED AND HAVE EXCELLENT BEDSIDE MANNER. THEY REALLY TRULY LOVE WHAT THEY DO, AND LOVE WATCHING THEIR WORK CHANGE AND TRANSFORM PEOPLES LIVES. MRS. ORTIZ WAS A REAL JEWEL, AND THE HOSPITAL STAFF WAS VERY NICE. I AM A LITTLE SORE, BUT I AM DOING WELL. THE ONLY BAD THING WAS THAT I CAUGHT A COLD AND I AM TRYING TO FIGHT OFF THIS COLD NOW. (I THINK jENNA GAVE ME HER COLD!) Hi All - The recent layoffs here have left a bad taste in my mouth, and BF is disillusioned with the level of education at the community college level here. We're thinking, there must be something better... This is my idea - I think it would be great if he could lead tours to places of geologic interest (he being a PhD Paleontologist). These tours would not be hard-core science tours, but more like intro level geology for the area we'd tour to - on the same level as a credit-worthy field trip. NOT touristy tours, although there would be a little time built in for that type of stuff, but the focus/point of the tour would be geology. Places of interest and knowled…

Something disturbing happened last night, and I want to share it with you all. Warning...this may be a long post. I was asleep in bed, and it was about 10:45 pm. I got a private phone call (*67). It was a woman. She asked me if I was Joan F., and I said yes. She asked me if I was Joan F. who lived on my street name, and I said yes. (It sounded like a middle aged or older lady.) She said her name was Betsy, and she was calling because she wanted to let me know her nephew was spying on some of the local neighbors, and I was one of them. She said her nephew was back from the war, and has surveillence equipment. She told me he has naked pictures of me. She said she wanted …

OK, yes this is a beehive. Yes this was in the EAVE of our rental house. Yes it was that big. The size was estimated at around 2 feet in diameter and held approximately 5000 bees. They had to tear off some shingles, gas the bees to kill the queen, let that set for a day or two, then come back and remove the dead bees and the hive. The tenant said the honey was dripping down from the eave like a waterfall. If it hadn't been full of the gas poison she would have collected it. Last summer we couldn't understand how we kept having all these bees flying around while we were outside by the pool. Then we realized there must be a beehive close by. Who'd a thunk it w…

Off to an interesting start for 2005 Please forgive the length of this post, but I really need to vent. Since the first of the year, I’ve been admitted to the hospital twice. Not so good when you notice we are just now on day 7 into the New Year. The official diagnosis is “reactive airway disease with restrictive ventilatory defect due to obesity.” The treatment: loose weight while taking massive doses of steroids. I’m so tired of them not knowing what is wrong, so they use my weight as the scapegoat. “Because you are fat, we will say that is what is wrong. While we’ve never actually been able to prove that your extra weight i…

Check out the email I got this morning from the "great" guy I have been seeing for the last three weeks. >>Just so you know, Chris is married to me. In other words, he has a wife. Please leave us alone. >> It came from his email address, and I haven't heard from him since. I never did see his house...something always came up when we were supposed to hang out there. I seriously thought I was going crazy because he was acting so strange but I discounted it to mono...which he probably never had but just needed to buy some time for the wife. Poor woman. I want revenge. I want to make him squirm. I want this to have been a bad dream and to wake u…

Hello everyone, I just want to shout out to the world that God has blessed me in a huge way. My son who had some heart issues that have been monitored since birth had his yearly check up yesterday and was given a clean bill of health. The concerns the Cardiologist had have gone away and my three year old son has a strong healthy heart. That is the best news I have gotten in a long time, it was always a concern, and no more. Praise Jehova God. I got my birthday present early. And it was the best one ever. Just wanted to share my joy with you all.

Hi everyone, Ok this is what is going on and I have no clue what to put on it. On my left cheek (my face) is a dark spot that seems to be making it's way down my face. I don't know what you call them but since I am light skined it really shows.. I have tried a mexican Salve but it did not work so any suggestions would surely be appriciated.
