I think yes, for me it made me realize how much and when I was doing it. Do not go into this thinking it's a cure all...... It's a tool, a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful tool that if used correctley works!!! It's nice to see more & more people with less than the marked 100 lbs to loose getting this wonderful invention. Whatever you do don't give up!!!! Remember the band is "just" a helper, it won't get you there alone... Get ya a good fill and I bet you will start feeling like you can do this.. Good luck to you, I know how hard the mental side of all this is.

Guess I Am One Of The Lucky Ones, I Have 2.5cc's In My Band And I Have Perfect Restriction....... The Biggest Way That I Can Tell Is That I Am Not HungrEy between Meals... And That's Eating Less Than Half Of What I Used To.. Start Out Slow And Get .5cc's From There, And Maybe You Will Get Your Sweet Spot Right Off The Bat.... Good Luck.. I can feel my port, but after my first fill it feels weird... By weird I meen not the same???? Hard to describe..

1. How long were you out of work? One week and a day 2. Explain to me what getting "stuck" feels like. I have never had this happen, and hoping it never will.. 3. How soon after surgery can you begin to excercise? I waited 2 weeks, and I started off slow, by just walking no heavy lifting.. I still shy away from heavy lifting I think it's a mental thing, I can see Delarla's photoes in my head...Not that that caused her problems but I am very protective of my little buddy.. 4. Were you afraid to eat after the surgery? Yes, a little but I got over it real quick 5. If you have a spouse/significant other.. How did they handle your weight loss? I could not or would not have wanted to do it without my DH, He has been my rock...And he is the only one that knows about my band... I think he loves my weight loss, but he loved me at a plus size too. I think I'm much happier so it makes his life hapier... Good luck to you!!!! I hope this helps

You know I never thought it could be scare tissue...I sure hope so.... To be sore after is normal, (whew) I will wait untill my fill check up to tell him... I can't tell you guys how much your responces have helped ease my fears....Thank you ((((((((((HUGS)))))))) Tara

Ok, so I went for my first fill last Thursday, he found my port no problem and gave me 2cc's. This was all done without flora.. At one point he pushed and it hurt.. I could tell he was already in the port then, the push, now my port site hurts?? And around the area dosn't feel smooth like it used to, and maybe I can feel a weird egde.. I'm so scared, I have had a dream band experiance up untill now.. I don't know what to do, do I wait 2 more weeks at my fill check up apt. to mention it, or should I call.... I am so scared it's going to be another surg..... Do you know if my port has moved or tipped, will he beable to tell by feel??? I feel like crying... I feel like it's something I've done..
