Any February Sleevers?

I just got my surgery date. February 12th. It hadn’t felt real till now that it’s actually happening. I know it might sound weird but now the nerves are kicking in.

Congrats girl!!

How’s everyone feeling. I was sleeved 2/15. I’m down 2 sizes and feel like I can take in more water today than even this morning. I just had 12 oz of water in about 1 hour when before that would take several. Anyone struggling with purée (current stage) Or liquids are you starting to feel a little better ?

Today is my 4th day post-op and now I can have non-clear liquids (includes nonfat yogurt)! I had nonfat yogurt this morning and it took me an hour to finish a cup of it, I didn't feel overly full or anything, is this normal?

I am glad I seem to be recovering, but the incision pain is still very much real.

Yep i had mine feb 9. Went to a restutsnt w my husband and ate 2 shrimp and one ounce of chicken. It will get better.

Today my 4th day post op I’m still on clear liquids until I see my surgeon on the 8th. I’m not bothered by it cause honestly I’m not hungry. I’m still waiting on that first BM. How many days out was everyone when they had theirs and at what point should I start to be concerned???

I was almost a week but I started taking miralax and that got it right on out. I stopped that and am now all good.

Hey all! ::waves:: Am a 2/20 sleever

Sleeved on 2/28. Lost 5 lbs so far. Have an alarm set on my phone reminding me to drink 1 oz of water every 7 minutes. Every 3rd oz has been protein drink (premier protein or nectar). Surgeon want me to have 800 calories per day. However, I’m really only getting 400-500. Walking feels good and napping every afternoon. Keep up the good fight, everyone.

Hey Sleeved! Glad to see your post! I'm a 2/28 sleever and I'm still on clear liquids but have slowly incorporated sf pudding and thin cream soups. I can keep everything down okay, but it takes a loooong time to finish an ounce or two. Probably not hitting my water goal but it's tough! (Especially when we sleep 8 hours a day.) I was wondering when my first BM would be too. Okay, no one read further as this may be TMI for you. I have been sitting here at the computer and all of a sudden I felt like I had to pass gas. YAAAAY! So I just let go! Wooohoooowwaaaaait a minute. Uh oh. Oh boy. That wasn't just air. I ran to the bathroom and yes, I sh*t my pants. So NOW, lesson learned, I have to sit on a toilet to fart. I'm just glad my body finally moved some semi-solids out of my system. Surely you won't have to wait too much longer for a BM, but if you need to fart, it could be what you're looking for! LOL

If nothing is more important the first week the liquids remember even if u are getting exercise in not having enough water can still form blood clots...sleeved Feb 12th on first week of pureed well not getting 6 meals in a day at 4 oz but pureed tuna and Wendy's chili 3 times a day at 2oz. And plenty of fluids down 20 pounds

I’m out 5 days now. Had one protein shake, took me all day. Drinking less than 30oz as of now. I also love water- now it’s harder to get down- they say sip sip.. lol I’m trying. I was hungry today.

Lol you’ve given me hope I have had some gas so I’ll keep the faith that it’s leading to something but from my other sleever’s advice I did pick up some Miralax just in case. Been getting in a lot of protein water tryna keep hitting my goals, thanks for everyone’s responses and we’ve got this!
