  5. Travelled to NYC last night and realized I forgot my multivitamins. I’m only 5 weeks post surgery. Where can i buy a good bariatric multi in the city?

  8. 11 days post op. Still on liquid diet and walking 4+ miles per day. Lost 8 pounds and have been at the same weight for the last 3 days. I didn’t expect to stall this quickly. Also, everything smells so good but other than smell I have no craving to eat any of it.

  10. Hang in there. You’ll get through this and you be feeling better. Took my 5 days to poop. But I feel ya about the pizza. Watching my family eat releases some heavy cravings.

  16. I was sleeved last week and I’ve only lost 6 lbs. I’m currently 309 but thought the pounds would fall off this week especially since I’m not taking in more than 600 calories a day and walking 3-4 miles. Waaaay less and waaay more than I did pre-op.
  17. Had the same feeling for the first few days or now when I take big sips.
  18. I have a nectar Protein Shake mixed with milk, Unjury chicken Soup, Premier Protein drinks and today I tried Okios triple zero vanilla yoghurt. Adding the yogurt (half a serving) boosted my calories to 650. No solid food or puréed food yet. Not feeling hungry at all.
  19. I’m probably not eating enough. I’m only getting about 550 calories/day and struggling to get that much in.
  20. Good results everyone. Although I feel like I’m lagging since I’ve only lost 6 lbs. what’s the secret?
  21. Almost a week out from surgery. How is everyone doing? I’m 5 day out feel good and I seem to be dropping a pound a day.
  22. Sleeved on 2/28. Lost 5 lbs so far. Have an alarm set on my phone reminding me to drink 1 oz of water every 7 minutes. Every 3rd oz has been protein drink (premier protein or nectar). Surgeon want me to have 800 calories per day. However, I’m really only getting 400-500. Walking feels good and napping every afternoon. Keep up the good fight, everyone.
  23. 5 miles per day is impressive. How many times per day do you walk and how far each time? I upped my time and speed this morning during my first walk. I walked for 30 minutes at 2.5 mph. I’m working my way up to 3 mph.
  24. How much walking did everyone do first week post-op? I have a treadmill and I’ve been walking 4x per day for about 15-20 minutes each time.
  25. Surgery was successful. Very little pain and I’m able to drink water and protein drinks. Came home yesterday and I’ve been walking like crazy. Got on the scale this morning and was surprised that I only lost 1 lb. would this be normal?
