  3. I’m a code enforcement officer so I do a combination of field work and desk work not to mention driving to different sites. My doctor recommended 3 weeks off and that’s exactly what I took. It also helped that I was on puréed foods by the time I returned to work don’t think I would have be able to accomplish much while on liquids. The Road 2 A Better Me

  13. Yes that vomiting on a brand new empty tummy was horrible! I wouldn’t wish my first day experience on anyone but 6 days out I honestly have no regrets. The Road 2 A Better Me

  15. Sleeved on 2/28 last day of February, first day after surgery was rough as hell. But each day has gotten better. My first post op appointment is on Thursday can’t wait to graduate from clear liquids to full liquids. Thankfully haven’t experienced any hunger yet. 16. I was sleeved on 2/28 too. Still on clear liquids and shakes until I have my follow up appointment on 3/8 when I’ll be able to switch over to full liquids to include creamy soups and yogurt. Thankfully I haven’t been hungry yet been hitting my protein goals much easier than my water goals. That’s cause I’ve made protein jello and protein popsicles. The Road 2 A Better Me

  18. I was sleeved on the 28th too walking definitely helps with the gas but since you’re still feeling out of it I’d try some medicine. Everybody swears by GasX strips but I wasn’t able to get my hands on any pre-op but what I did get was infant gas drops which worked wonderfully for me on my first day in the hospital when pain and nausea didn’t allow me to get much walking in. 25. Lol you’ve given me hope I have had some gas so I’ll keep the faith that it’s leading to something but from my other sleever’s advice I did pick up some Miralax just in case. Been getting in a lot of protein water tryna keep hitting my goals, thanks for everyone’s responses and we’ve got this! The Road 2 A Better Me

  27. Today my 4th day post op I’m still on clear liquids until I see my surgeon on the 8th. I’m not bothered by it cause honestly I’m not hungry. I’m still waiting on that first BM. How many days out was everyone when they had theirs and at what point should I start to be concerned??? The Road 2 A Better Me
