What ya eating tonight?

I had a small sweet potato, with a tablespoon of i cant believe its butter,

And i boiled a boneless skinless chicken breast. With salt and pepper, curry, garlic powder and some soul food seasoning. After it cooked i put a tablespoon of BBQ sauce to the side so the bites of chicken wouldnt be to dry,

All was good, filled up quick even tho i was slow eating

A small can of tuna mixed with a chopped boiled egg and some light mayo. Late lunch will be 3/4 c Wendy's chili and dinner will be a pot roast cooked in slow cooker for 13 hrs with carrots (I won't eat the potatoes) and maybe a Greek yogurt sometime during the day. And as much water I can swallow :-)

I made a cup of broccoli and a cup of cauliflower and sprinkle some seasoning on them and steamed them and then fried up a lean angus patty. Was very good

Herb roasted chicken breasts, roasted baby portobellos, and a black bean sauté. Super yummy, high protein, low fat and low carb.

Yeah my first day of "soft mushy food". I had 1/2 cup of chili with 1 tbsp reduced fat shredded cheese and a few oyster crackers. Tasted like heaven compared to all the liquids I have been eating.

How much of this do you eat? I can only get maybe two small pieces of broccoli and cauliflower in after say 3 oz of beef.

Try making or eating some gravy with small bites of pot roast. I made tsziki (sp) sauce with cucumbers and greek yogurt...and its high ptotein but helps with dry meat. And yes...slow cooker meat gets to me too.

I can eat the whole patty. It was a thin slice i put a little bit of catsup on it so it wasn't dry. The broccoli and cauliflower was the frozen in bag just plain. Not the steamers. I steam my own. It was about a 1/2 a cup for both that i ate. I am 6 weeks out

Turkey meatballs tonight. They were not too tasty, but packed with protein. Other than that I had 2 protein shakes today.
