  2. Thanks girls! I no 50 is great I just had higher expectations I guess!
  3. Ok guys I know we all lose weight at our own pace and yes I do agree with this we all are simply not the same. With that being said I had my surgery January 24th, 2013! And I am down almost 50lbs! Yay I can definitely tell a difference in my clothes. My thing is I am getting more and more frustrated! I feel like I am not losing fast enough! I constantly work out! Cardio and strength exercises. I will stay at the same weight for days! I try to talk to my mom which is my only supporter but she seems to think I am not eating right?? Which is just not true. I'll admit I do take some bites BITES out of something that is not the greatest choice but I am only human I mean really can a BITE hurt this much? Which leads me to think am I a failure already? Summer is right around the corner and I was so looking forward to theme parks and water parks but I feel like I am still to big Well thanks for letting me vent a little!
  4. I am curious as well
  5. Thanks girls I needed to hear this! I guess I just keep seeing these stories of women losing like crazy the first couple of months and I feel like I should be losing more myself I still have the fear of failing. But my clothes are big on me and I haven't bought anymore yet that actually fit so I am not sure how loose they have really gotten in the past couple of weeks. I need to measure myself though I haven't thought of that! Thanks again!
  6. My surgery date was Jan. 24 2013 and I have only lost 35 pounds! The last three weeks I have worked out five days a week! Of course I can not eat much at all I do not know what is going on I feel like the weight should be coming off faster?
  7. My surgery was Jan 24 2013

  16. Sounds good I will definitely be trying this!
  17. I can tolerate salads really well to and I can eat more of it at a time just I dip the dressing they just don't have any protein
  18. Well I was on a pretty strict diet the first 2 weeks and after that I was just told to add foods slowly. So far I love chicken and tolerate really well I just have to be careful and not eat to fast because I get a horrible feeling like chest pressure so not fun! I got some recipes from pinterest to. One of my favorites is a turkey melt you just get deli sliced and put some low fat shredded cheese in the middle pop it in the oven and its pretty good! I also love the turkey chili with different softer beans like pintos. Turkey jerky from wal mart is really good to
  19. I had my surgery on 1/24/2013 and I have a 20 month old who is about 24lbs and my doctor just said no heavy lifting 30+ for 4-6 weeks. There was no way I was in any shape to take her of her the first week my sister had to keep for me. After oh about 10 days it got A LOT easier I was just sore but still could do everything for her I would still get ran down pretty fast but I just pushed through it and by 2 weeks out I felt some what normal. Hope this helps!!
