Rotisserie chicken on a bed of shredded Brussels sprouts sautéed with garlic and onion, chilled balsamic green bean salad (roasted fresh green beans in olive oil until tender, toss with minced shallots, garlic, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and fat free feta cheese).

I'm 7 months out. I didn't try chocolate or sweets of any kind until I was 5 months out and the. It was just a bite. And there is very littleof it that I eat. One square of dove dark chocolate has 4 grams of sugar and I eat it at the end of the meal so that it won't go straight through me. It's a rare treat for me but I've discovered that it keeps me from eating sugar free pudding or sugar free ice cream, etc. that I hear that others eat to get their sweet fix and that one piece of dark chocolate is less calories. I am certainly not advocating that anyone else eat chocolate but for me, it's a small indulgence that's under the 10 grams of sugar that my nut recommends and I'm choosing the path of moderation long term.

I think that's a great idea. I will having something to look forward to for later...I do love my chocolate! TY for responding..=o)

Kung pao chicken no rice. Goooood. I'm 4 months post op and eat almost anything I want just very little of it. I crave watermelon and grapes like crazy!!!!

~Blessed! HW 324. consult weight 313. weight as of 2/12/13 233. Goal 213. surgery date oct 2012

What haven't I ate today lol. No I had smoked applewood Turkey about 2 ounces with a cowpal Colby Jack cheese and 5 crackers for desert I had a Adkins peanut caremel bar. Oh the Turkey thing I had for breakfast and lunch too and a premier protein vanilla shake

I also feel very full with water! Dinner last pm was 1 egg scrambled w/ 1 oz low fat cheese.

Wow...two eggs microwaved/ scrambled this am and a small half a refrigerator watermelon for breakfast....yummy.the watermelon was eaten first...probably about 1.5 cups of watermelon.

Hmm. I noticed a lot of people say they can't have lettuce or salads. I am almost three weeks out and my nutritionist said I could work them into my diet at the beginning of week three. I had my first salad yesterday and just dipped it in the dressing and I tolerated it just fine! Granted I could not eat very much at all oh and I had my surgery on the 24th of January.

I eat salad everyday with some meat and fruit mixed in, because it's good and I can't tolerate not eating some veggies

Meatball and chicken sausage with a little marinara sauce

I also use hot sauce here and there. My surgery was Dec. 2012, as well.

Cream of chicken breasts.

Ingredients

4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

1 pinch poultry seasoning

1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup

1 (10.75 ounce) can milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Place chicken in a 9x13 inch baking dish and season to taste.

Mix soup with soup can of milk/half-and-half/water (if desired, use 2 cans to make sauce thicker). Pour soup mixture evenly over chicken and bake in the preheated oven for about 1 1/2 hours or until chicken is no longer pink and is tender.

I used chicken tenderloins and I cooked in a pan first and seasoned not completely just a little. I cooked in oven 30 min. I served with cauliflower mashed potatoes. Yum.
