no razor stubble on your face because it HURTS... hello! the skin on my face gets shredded by stubble let alone the sensitive other areas your face could come in contact with!

beard, handlebars... whatever as long as it's soft but I'm never going to love it. chest hair... yum. excessive back hair could go. man-scaping is fine as long as you don't look more "done" than I do (my preference!).

I think it would freak me out to see a man waxed/shaved down south... just the thought of it is a little freaky...

My 2¢.

I keep my lawn mowed....... It makes the tree look bigger!!!...... Also I highly recommend waxing over shaving. I know, waxing doesn't sound very masculine, but it really is the best treatment.

I have my pits, scrotum, upper inner thighs (bikini area), & between the cheeks done. I'm not really an exceptionally hairy person. But if you happen to be, I'd also highly recommend having your back waxed as well.

It will hurt the first couple times, but the returning hair gets smaller & smaller, so each time you go it becomes less painful.

Another benefit of waxing is you only need to do it every 4-8 weeks. And no irritating stubble to deal with.

O T R: does the visual size matter or is it better on how well or deep it enters any of the 2-3 ports of entry???

It matters to us.

It's kinda like asking "does it matter how breasts look as long as they serve their function?".

I'm fine with trimming. Not crazy about the bald look.

Gotta rock the “Bro-Zilian”, crack, and back wax! I just will never admit that again if any of y'all run into me in public!

I prefer trimmed and not shaved. Shaved is fine if you keep it shaved but the stubble (sp?) really hurts me, so I told my husband to trim. I shave but tomorrow I'm getting a brazilian wax.

If you can afford it, I would totally go for laser hair removal...it's spendy and minorly painful but SO worth it. No more hair for me!! If anyone wants pricing info send me a message and I'll let you know what I paid for mine.

I wish that had worked for me! I paid a TON... Went for painful treatments every 6 weeks for almost 2 years. And still little to no result. Guess it doesn't work for everyone... But they don't tell you that when they take your money!!

Okay, I am not an especially hairy woman. I have decided to get brave and try a brazilian - I have never been waxed so I am scared...lol. anyway, it gives me courage that so many o f you have survived it. I hate shaving private parts because I am prone to those little bumps. I do trim though and being hairless "down there" makes me feel sexy so that is why I want to try the waxing. How often do you have to do it? Do you get the bumps like from shaving?

Now, preference for hair on men - I think it is a personal preference. Facial hair - controlled quantities are okay, but I really prefer clean shaven.

Chest/back etc - I am not necessarily attracted to super hairy guys, but I guess I see body hair as a masculine trait. If a guy was completely waxed I think I would find it weird... like some body hair is normal and masculine. I am not homophobic - so don't take this wrong - but I think of smooth chests and backs with gay porn stars - a strange comments since I have never watched gay porn..lol.. but that is the mental image I get.

Now, in private parts, my personal preference, trimmed if needed, but not shaved. Again, reference masculine/ porn star remark but more importantly is that stubble can be irritating and I don't want to be irritated. :) I am a very practical person.

Who did it? If you go somewhere reputable and have black coarse hair which they check for before they take your money at least they did for me then there is no reason for it not to work. I went to Ideal Image and after the first treatment I saw major results. I guess I've just never heard of their service not working for someone. They are expensive but RN's do your treatment and they are extremely trustworthy in my experience. I'm sorry you had a bad one!

As far as waxing and shaving your private areas, waxing hurts like heck but gets the job done without many bumps. If you buy the right razors and the right shaving cream it is very possible to shave without bumps. I suggest the shaving cream Coochy to both guys and girls, I won't shave any part of my body with anything else, it's amazing for both guys and girls. I use a Venus Embrace 5 blade and it's awesome, no cuts or bumps. Good luck!

I have had laser treatment on chin and upper lip hair. It worked GREAT, but I did like 6-8 treatments and two years later it is like I never did them - well, there are fewer hairs, but it is still an issue so it is not permanent for me and my hairs were dark on fair skin. I am hearing that others have similiar results - it is great as long as you keep doing painful expensive treatments. Waxing is sounding better since it seems like it is the same basic thing, hair quantity reduces, but you still need to keep doing it and it is cheaper for sure.

I might try coochy on some inner thigh/bikini area as that will be very telling if it helps. i have used other cremes intended for sensitive skin and it never helped... but hey, that was a few years ago so maybe things are better now. But, I must ask, where does one find a product called "Coochy" i never saw it at the local grocery store! :)

Not that I'm gonna buy it, but out of curiousity searched Amazon for it. They have it.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
