O.T.R. sleever got a reaction from learn2cook in First Time Drinking Alcohol Post OpI am of German descent, and in my opinion, we here in America are doing a huge disservice to our children by "protecting" them from alcohol. I was given small amounts of beer in my bottle as a baby. And as I grew I was never refused alcoholic beverages, they were limited, just as any responsible parent would with sodas.
Now the argument can be made on both sides about health advantages/disadvantages. But where I saw the biggest difference was in my late teens & early twenties when all my friends were out getting sloshed, alcohol really wasn't that big of a deal to me, because I had access to it and was taught moderation with it my entire life.

O.T.R. sleever got a reaction from lions92 in Post Op Penis SizeYou can expect to see about 1" more penis per 35lbs of weight loss. Of course this is limited to the the amount of fat surrounding yours.
I have lost just shy of 100lbs & can say it is verry noticeable. And with less fat around it, holding it up, it does hang lower (appear even larger) flacid.

O.T.R. sleever got a reaction from Nicole0615 in Cucumbers & TomatoesI haven't had any problems with them. Been drinking spicy hot V8 since full liquids. Also I have cucumber in my shrimp cocktail. & I use a ton of tomatoe based sauces.
One of my faves right now is marinnera meat sauce made w/ Italian seasoned turkey meat.

O.T.R. sleever got a reaction from Lainybee1987 in First Time Drinking Alcohol Post Op^^^ what he said. Be for surgery I could easily drink 6 drinks and barely feel it. About 6-7 weeks after I had 2 drinks and was completely LIT-UP. I could barely walk.

O.T.R. sleever got a reaction from gemigirl in Examples Of Slider FoodsMost slider foods are pretty easy to tell. First off sliders are high calorie/carb
If it melts or turns into a liquid while eating (ice cream, Jello, popcorn)
If you smash it up and find that it takes up very little space ( potato chips cheese doodles)
It's really kind of amazing. Take a bag of Cheetos and put them in a blender then measure them. You'll completely understand why you can eat so many of them.(this works for chips too).

O.T.R. sleever got a reaction from lovigkindness in How To Eat Fast Food With VsgYou avoid fast food as much as you can, but if you're in a pinch you can order:
Burger w/o the bun(In&Out calls this "protien style")
Grilled chicken sandwich w/o bun
Chili (Wendy's)
Fruit& yogurt parfait
Steak or chicken burrito w/o rice (taco bell) eat the filling, discard the tortilla
Pintos & cheese (Taco Bell)
LJS has a grilled fish plate
Most fast food places have something you can eat.
But a recovering food addict going to fast food joints is tantamount to a crack fiend hanging out at a drug dealers house.
Just not a good idea.
