i had a gastric sleeve 10 years ago. i've put back on weight and have a hernia. i guess I failed. Has anyone been subscribed ozempic as a treatment plan? Also on medicare as primary. thanks

I had gastric sleeve. I have regained a lot of my weight sitting around with the covid, just one poor excuse. I have no energy. I have GERD now and saw my doc. he is having me do a endoscopy and UGI. He thinks I will have to convert to GBP. Not being cynical, but of course he does, He is a surgeon. If I really focus and try to just take the weight off, wouldn't that be better than BPG. has anyone just did that?

Has anyone had a GBP after a sleeve and how did that go?

Hello, I had the gastric sleeve 2 years ago. I'm not dong well and have put on a lot of weight. Although the quanity is limited, the frequency is not. I am always hungry. I've not gone back to doc becasue I dont want to get on scale. I'm wondering if I should have had the by pass instead and would I benefit from another proceudre. Has anyone done that? Advice? thank you

Hello, I am almost 4 weeks post op. After the first week of healing etc. I can tell you I don't feel any different physically or mentally. I am just full after my 4 tablespoons of soft solids. I will be able to eat most foods and on special occasions, really anything as long as I get back on track. My point is you can still have it, you just won't want much of it. You will be satisfied after 4 tablespoons. The rest you take home. It's normal to be nervous, but you will be angry and not satisfied if you don't do it. If your health is important, get it done. If you become a diabetic....you would have to limit the food and calories anyway.

How long do you have to sip after a sleeve? Is it a forever thing?

I'm three days postop and on Clear liquids. I'm finding it impossible to keep up with the liquids. I'm getting 16 ox per day. The whey Protein in my Jello just turns my stomach. I'm wondering where else I can get protein. Still having more pain than I thought I would.

five days away and getting really nervous. has anyone had an uneventful post op? I think I can deal with the pain but when I read about gagging, choking and spitting up I get scared.

I am booked to have a sleeve next week.....does any post op sleeve wish they got a band?

Do some docs leave the stomach bigger in some patients vs. others?

I am one week from my gastric sleeve. I was reading some documentation my doc gave me and it spoke about depression, specifically mourning the loss of food. My cold feet came back. I had my son read it and he told me to switch to a lap band. I said but the results are not as good.....and he said, Mom your can reverse it. I'm all confused again.
