No, I started to be able to take larger, longer sustained drinks at 4 1/2 maybe 5 months. I can drink 5-7oz at a time (not per swallow obviously, but 5-7drinks in a row...chugging.). I'm 6 months out.

I LOVE guzzling Water (and milk), and at first, it was really the only thing irritating the poop out of me that I couldn't just drink water. It was making me angry and I'd rather not even 'sip' water at all if I couldn't really 'drink it. BUT...

I am HAPPY to report that, as of the past 2 weeks (I'm now in week 9+), I can take four good swallows of whatever, put the glass down, wait 2 minutes, and then take four more good swallows. I ~measured it, and it's about 4 ozs. each (4-swallow) time, so each swallow is about an ounce.

It DOES get a LOT better. Be patient with it.
