that's so weird, I started at 232 on day of surgery, which was Jan. 21st. it's my goal to be down to 165 by July 27 for my hubby's birthday. How tall are you? I'm 5'6". Any tips? I was hoping I could drop 20 the first month and then average 10 another after. but I was 5 weeks yesterday and just hit -18 today.

HW: 238

SW: 216

Today I hit my goal that I set at my first appointment with the surgeon, in December 2012. My doc thinks I should have a goal of 135, but I kind of like where I am now. I'm really kind of excited about it. I am so grateful for this sleeve!

Artsong, Have you had your labs done? Sometimes if something is off it will slow you down. It could be Vit. D or something.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
