Surgery Tomorrow! Finally My Big Day Has Arrived

Hello everyone, I'm so excited. I've waited for a little under a year. Finally the day has come, tomorrow I will be sleeved. I can't wait. I've been on clear liquid diet, and I'm fine. I'm just mentally and physically ready for this. I think I have everything, gas x strips, vitamins, pillow, ect. So any tips, recommendations, thoughts, and prayers are appreciated as well as welcomed.

Good Luck Chitowngirl! I know you are excited. I just started my journey. I know it won't take me as long as it has you because I am self pay. My insurance has an exclusion in the policy for WLS. Bummer. I know I have no other choice but to pay for it. I've been over weight since I was 8, Lost and was a normal weight from 14 to 23 then gained it all back... lost more... gained it back... so on. Will say a prayer for you to do well! God Bless...

Good luck tomorrow on your surgery! You can have my spot on the Losers Bench! It served me well and I'm on the Goalies Bench now, 10 months later.

Rest and be kind to your self in the days after surgery - you deserve it!

Yay! Best of luck to you, keep us posted! :)

you are all a very inspirational group. I am having my surgery next wednesday and I am very nervous. I only started the process last month. I guess all the stars were aligned because my insurance was approved quickly along with everyone else acting quickly. I just started reading the board my dr put the pre,ip.packet in. the mail they do not think I needed to do a long preip diet. I kind of feel clueless now after reading everything. where do you get the protein shakes and which ones are the best. thanks for any tips
